Hi all!
I am just wondering what result I will have if I use a metallic grey dye on my hair. The roots are brassy and the length is platinum blonde. I want my hair to be grey And I would like to avoid to bleach them again.

Hi! Could you put a picture up? You may need to tone your roots before dying your hair grey, as if they are too brassy the end result could be muddy. It sounds like the length would be fine though.

Hi! Looking at your photo, i would say your roots are too dark for the grey at the moment. I'm not even sure if a toner would work well enough. I'm sure Janine or one of the other more knowledgeable ladies on here would be able to advise you better though. I hope you manage to get the colour you want.
