Bored of hairstyle!

Hi guys so I'm due for a haircut as major split ends and plus the green is coming back and the bottom of my hair, now at the minute my hair is mid length past my collar bone but not yet at my boobies and is all one length with a full fringe and I wanna new style! I've had a pixie cut before but wouldn't say no to one again, and I'm looking at half head undercuts but unsure ! I also love choppy layers (kinda like scene hair but not as big!) as my hair although there's a lot of it lacks volume. Colour wide it's everything lol! It's dark red/brown with root plus green ends (so not intentional!) so maybe dying it is also a good idea!

So anyone got any cute haircut ideas?

I guess I'm similar to you in that I like choppy/edgy haircuts with lots of layers in a kind of subtle scene style.

What do you think of an asymmetrical haircut, so it's long on one side and short on the other? There's loads of variety in the kinds of asymmetrical hairstyles I've seen. (I've attached some photos). Lot's of people get a bob with one side very short and the other shoulder length, some people get a much longer version with a more subtle difference between each length, or even a dramatic difference with one side quite short and the other very long.

I actually have an asymmetrical haircut myself. You can kind of see my hair in my avatar, but I haven't had a haircut since the beginning of the year so my layers have grown out a bit and the short side is a lot longer than it was originally. It's a similar length to yours but the end length of hair is quite thin on the long side compared to the rest of my hair (sort of how scene hair is thin on the lengths)

I like having this hairstyle because you can have lots of different length layers cut, which lightens your hair giving you more volume (my hair isn't particularly thick, but it's very heavy, so with this haircut I can get a lot of volume). Also, (depending on how dramatic the difference in hair lengths with the cut), you can keep the length of hair on one side, whilst still cutting split ends off when thinning out the ends of the hair, and having practically all the split ends cut off on the shorter bits. You could also shave a section of one side of the hair, which could go quite nicely as the hair would gradually get longer further round the other side of your head.

I'm not sure how that cut would work since you said you have a full fringe, but I thought I'd suggest it anyway.

Good luck choosing a new hairstyle (if you haven't already) πŸ™‚
