Hi all
I recently used a product called "Scott Cornwall Shine On Original Conditioning Hair Glaze" which has caused some minor damage to my hair. *censored*
Will it be okay to use ApHogee 2 Minute Keratin Reconstructor in place of my ordinary conditioner until it feels "normal" again? I was planning on using it every 3rd wash.
I usually wash my hair every 3 days.
The damage isn't severe but when I asked my friend, he said it looks a bit dry and it doesn't look as smooth as usual. The irony is, the hair glaze has done the opposite of what it's supposed to do.
I may be wrong here, but having just looked at the ingredients I think there's something along the lines of silicone in there in nitropropane. I don't think that's all bad, but it could mean that the cuticle is sealed shut (possibly temporarily). That would mean the aphogee wouldn't do much as it couldn't get in the hair. It might be that using a clarifying shampoo would be enough to remove it, but it seems like it's designed to survive washing.

Thanks for the reply. I clarified my hair and used the ApHogee for a few minutes, just waiting for it to dry. We shall see!
