hi guys! so im here to ask is there any steps i need to take before i go silver/white. my hair is a very light kinda ashy blonde (i have roots but i will bleach that soon). my color is very even and i bleached my whole head about six months ago.
i went from this (black & turquoise)
(picture 1)
to this (white pale ash blonde)
(picture 2)
with one bleach with 12% for 50 minutes and a few tonings with a silver shampoo,
then i dyed it a semi-permanent dark blonde because i wanted allover uniform color
(picture 3)
then i left it for six months, not dying or bleaching anything and here it is now
(picture 4)
i'm wondering what steps should i take to go that white/silver/lilacy color kinda like this?
(picture 5)
thanks!
Try using bonacure & leaving it on for 1/2 hour & see how that fairs. You may need one bleach bath, but i think you'll do well from just shampoo. Pravana does a good silver dye as well.
thanks, ill try that. or ill mix up my own toner and see how that works, if not, i'll do the bleach bath. π do you know any permanent toners maybe? i would love to try wella t18, but it they dont sell it here in croatia or it's very hard to get a hold of.
I think Koleston do one, but i don't know anything about it i'm afriad. Afew girls on here have used some perm toners though. Hopefully they'll be able to help more.
okay thanks anyway. π i need a permanent one cause i wash my hair often and the semipermanent would last 2 weeks at most, and i dont really have that much time to redye it.
so, almost a year later my hair is much different π
I cut my hair and bleached it from this (pic 1)
to this (pic 2) today...
12% + bleach, 40mins.
toner: palette a10 hair dye, 2 times, 12%
the ends took darker cause they were dyed brown, but its pretty blonde and i'm going to tone it a bit more till it gets to the white / silver phase. π
i found this link in my bookmarks so i felt the need to update you all π
