Advice on my new colour please?

Hi all,

I've stripped out red dye and my hair is now a dark blonde/light brown with varying green, brass and pink tones. I did tone it which has helped but it still isn't right and I'm trying to decide whether to try highlighting it to get properly blonde or just to go back dark. Or maybe an ombre/layered colour? Needs to be natural-ish due to work etc. Any suggestions about what would suit me will be greatly appreciated πŸ™‚

ETA: sorry, I'm having a huge nightmare uploading my pics as I'm using my phone...  Bear with me!

I really like the colour it is.
What processes has it already been through?
You can definitely add highlights, but your base looks to have a lot of red in it, so if blonde is your goal you may be better off waiting and giving it an all over bleach first.

Yesterday I used JoBaz and today a Schwarzkopf colour mask (permanent toner/lightener), then I made a toner with a few drops of red adore as it was still really green. Before I stripped it, I had dark roots and the rest was a mix of brown/ginger/red where I'd bleached brown dyed hair to go bright red, kept that for 6 months and then put brown on it again as I needed to tone it down with only a day's notice. It did come out really brassy with some major green tones too, I was amazed that the red was removed so well. The colour now isn't terrible, it's a lot more even and neutral thanks to the Schwarzkopf mask but I just don't think it suits me. Maybe cos I've never been anything resembling blonde so it's very weird!
