How do I section my hair and where do I clip them? They are a few inches longer than my hair. My hair is bottom of boobs length but the extensions add fullness and a few inches. When I clip them I put them under my hair on bottom middle and top layer of hair. It's hard to achieve a look where the ends look full enough to blend in with my hair (and not thin/scraggly) while adding length, as well as not having any lumps or clips of the extension showing through my hair.
Any suggestions, tutorials or advice? Thanks.
I really wouldn't advocate using clip in extensions given the current state of your hair. You're likely to have the hair break off near the root from the weight and mechanical damage.

Thanks. I am a little concerned about that. Is it too damaging if I only wear them once for a few hours? I have a wedding of my friend next week and if I wear them and clip the front in a certain way my hair looks very pretty without having to iron it.
Well that's up to you really. I wore extensions after cutting off my damaged lengths but my scalp would feel a bit sore during and after.
Personally I put mine in with a 2 clip strip at the bottom, then 2 3 clips (thickest at the top) then the 2 1 clips either side of my parting wherever they blend the best, but it really depends on your hairstyle and the set of extensions you have. For example my black extensions have 3 3 clips, 2 2 clips and 4 4 clips so I style that differently
BUT if your hair is damaged be very careful, extensions can damage your hair at the root and worst case scenario, you'll get a bald patch.
