What's the largest age gap you've ever dated?
What do you think of 30something men dating 20something women? (Women past 22, not college stuff)
Do you see this trend a lot?
Jake is 36 and I'm 26! We got together when we were 32 and 22, so I think it's perfectly fine! It all just depends on the people + if they mesh well
I'm 21 in a matter of weeks, and Scott's 28. We see nothing wrong with it :]
There's only a 1 year and 9 month gap between me and my other half (him being the older one).
I agree with Katie, I don't see anything wrong with it.
I'm 27 and my husband is 35, we don't really notice the age gap.
There's 8 years between Ryan and I. The only time we notice a difference is whe discussing music/tv shows from our childhood.
same Pippa, but even then it's not like we can't show each other what we meant.
My partner is 5 years and 5 months (exactly :)) older than me.
My second longest relationship, my boyfriend was just 5 months older than me.
My father was nearly 10 years older than my mother.
It all worked!
Hmmm, that 5-months thing, must mean I like April men, lol.
I dated someone 25 years older than me. Someone 15 years older than me. Someone the same age.* I'm now 4 years older than my partner. It's just worked out that way. The age gaps have never been an issue at all.
It's really only disturbing to me when one person (male or female, or same sex) is under 18 and their boyfriend is over 25, which I've seen. However, I know a couple that he was 18 and she was 26 when they got married and now they've been happily married for 20 years and still very obviously in love (and lust!).
Ultimately, who cares?! If it works, it works. Once you're out of teenage years do as you please.
*not in that order!
There is about 10 months difference between Jonny and I, he is the older one.
The largest age gap I had was 18 years, I was 18 and he was 36. I did notice it now and again but at the time it didn't bother me only now when I think about it and it makes me feel a bit weird because I'm now old enough to see that some of it wasn't right.
My eldest sister is 32 and her boyfriend is 25, my second eldest sister is 30 and her boyfriend 32, my younger sister is 25 and her husband is 32, me and Sam have 4 weeks between us and weโre both 27 (would be nice if it didnโt go his birthday, 2 weeks later valentineโs day, 2 weeks later my birthday, a busy 4 weeks!) my parents have a 3 year age gap with my Mum being older. If it works it works! My eldest sisterโs ex boyfriend was 10 years older than her, didnโt work but it wasnโt just down to age :p As long as itโs legal whatโs the harm if you like the person??
Just realised that 2 of my sisters and their boyfriends have the same age difference! Haha, both very different relationships though, very different sisters as well :p
Six years and four months between me and husband. And I'm older. I feel it quite a bit sometimes because he's about three to five years older than all his mates so sometimes he seems even younger to me - but the mate of his that I get on with best is 11 years younger than me so maybe it's all in my head ๐
This is the biggest age gap I've ever had. The next biggest was when I briefly went out with someone a couple of years older than me.
lol I get the same Tabitha! All my boyfriends friends are at least 7 or 8 years younger than him. But I've always had friends of all kinds of ages ๐
It just freaks me out when I talk about... oh I dunno, doing my GCSEs and he was still at primary school ๐ฎ
I don't know how, but I totally forgot I was seeing someone 10 years younger than me when I was 32! There were a couple of others but the ones mentioned are the most significant age gaps.
