Just out of interest with all the hair colours and sometimes comments that 'my job sucks I have to change my hair' (me included) intrigued me with what everyone's jobs etc were?

I'm an accountant for a construction company...fun fun aha

I'm a database and web developer. I work for a subdivision of the government! They do not give a flying fig what you look like here πŸ™‚

I sell sports insurance, they don't seem to mind my hair colour currently but going forwards I'd imagine the situation will change once I start going out to visit clients. I cover all my tattoos (which is HARD!) and turn my septum piercing upside down for work though...I don't want to push my luck!

I'm a law student with no job right now, although I do hang around in a Solicitors practice and make tea. Obviously in Uni hair doesn't matter too much, I still feel like it pays to keep it toned down though. Unfortunately people in this game have opinions on everything.

I work at Subway! Not that I have wild coloured hair anymore but they really don't mind. They let me keep all my piercings in so I doubt they'd bat an eyelid at brightly coloured hair.

I am a Graphic Designer, meeting with clients can be tricky as you dont really know how their going to react to my hair, but if their a certain type, maybe a construction company/over 40 year old man, they may not think i'm professional etc, so my business partner will go πŸ™‚

I'm self employed, so can wear what I want and have my hair brightly coloured luckily! Although I probably should reign it in a bit, I have been known to work wearing fairy wings and a tiara haha!

I am a Process Quality Analyst for a major courier company.  I was told that pink and blue hair is fine as long as I never wanted to get anywhere within the company and a lot of people actually wrote me off before they even got to know me (they assumed that because I had pink and blue hair I never wanted to go anywhere, basically).  We agreed to a compromise of any shade of red, and in the last year or so I've had a few people come up to me and apologise for completely misjudging a book by its cover.

I had to work really, really hard to prove myself, though, even with "toned down" red hair.  At least I can do whatever I want with my nails, though.
