This maybe sounds stupid but i was really thinking about this for a while  *puzz*
When one bleaches his/her hair, it tends to turn a yellow, brassy colour. To fix this and make it a light, "natural" blonde colour, one often uses a toner or a toning shampoo/conditioner combo right?
I was thinking would it also work for teeth?!
I know that hair and teeth are not the same, but I had the thought that perhaps purple toothpaste would take out yellow from teeth.
In make up when you us a lipstick with purple base it also makes your teeth whiter.
What do you guys think ?would it work? *anyone* *thx*

I have used a purple toothpaste, or it might have been white with purple flecks, and I think it might have been marketed as a whitening toothpaste, I can't really remember. In theory yes, it would make the teeth look whiter, no idea if it works that well though. I don't remember any difference.

Using purple lipstick actually highlights how yellow your teeth are, it is the contrast of the opposing colour. Like when hair is too yellow to tone, the toned areas make the darker parts look even more yellow.

I was thinking the same thing! Orange based lipsticks work better with yellow teeth... which is why I only have orange based lipsticks lol

I totally disagree that her teeth look better with the pink, it looks about the same. If you've got yellow teeth like me you really see the difference.
