I'm not sure if everyone has heard of The Little Princess Trust so I'll just tell you a little bit about it. It's a charity which makes and gives free wigs to children who have lost their hair through cancer treatments, the wigs are largely made by hair donations that are a minimum of 7" long.
My sister has decided to cut off 15" of hair on May 2nd to donate to this amazing charity so this is a cheeky post looking for any donations if anyone would like to. Her hair currently is 34" long, virgin hair so will be suitable for any wig made. Any donation would be so thankfully received, we only started fundraising yesterday and if anyone knew her they'd understand how big a sacrifice it has been for her to do this!!
Thank you to anyone in advance!! I will post a photo of her hair this afternoon and then there will be progress photos once the chop has happened!!

That's awesome π I thought I would add to this, there's another non profit also called Children With Hair Loss that doesn't charge for their wigs either. Part of their mission is to never charge a child/family in such a time of need, and it doesn't matter what condition the child has that has made them lose their hair, they will supply the child with a new one every year. I love organizations like these, that don't charge for their wigs/services. Locks of Love charges and I just think it's wrong. Also, CWHL will take processed/dyed hair, as long as it is healthy. Last time I checked Locks of Love would only take virgin hair.

Yeah there are some awesome charities π little princesses will take bleached or dyed hair as well π
That's amazing, Deloria. Her hair is so long, just how much is she cutting off?
15 inches. She wanted 20 but then I showed her how short it would go and she changed her mind to a little bit less it's just around her bum at the minute and she's going to shoulder length. I'm still convincing her to let me be the cutter π xx
ETA - image of her hair currently. She's under strict instructions to soak in oil at least twice a week up until the cut to cut back on the frizziness that's built up a little in her pregnancy.
The big hair cut will be next Friday and still hoping for as many donations as possible, she's gotten up to Β£78 so far so if anyone has a spare Β£1 and would like to, please donate, it's such a great cause and such a sacrifice for Carina to be cutting her hair off.
She's been soaking her hair in oils and conditioning treatments to make her hair all lovely and ready for the donation, and I will be uploading photos of the chop after it's all been completed π
