So I just had one of the nicest juices ever and wondered if any of you guys drink them? I usually have a gorgeous breakfast one at work, then a fruity one at dinner (with snacks inbetween) then at tea time ill have a normal meal. I find this helps me stop bloating LOADS and means I eat more fruit and veg! (I don't do this every day, for instance today and yesterday I had sandwiches at work, but I actually look as though I'm preggers now because of the bread/diet coke bloating me up urrrghhhhh)

Anyhow, here's the most gorgeous thing I've tasted in a while!
1 cup of strawberries
2 tbsp of chopped mint
Dollop of honey
1/2-1 lime (or lemon if you want it more on th strawberry side)
Then blend!! So good. It's a tummy soothing one which is why I tried it, so good.

The breakfast one I have if anyone is interested is:
2 bananas
About 1/4 a tub of natural yoghurt
A good helping of porridge oats
A dollop of honey
A splash of milk if its a bit thick
NOMMM

I don't really measure stuff out tbh, I just chuck it in πŸ˜€

I've been interested in juicing/blending fruit and vegetables since watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. I've been researching it ever since. I just don't want to stop eating completely!
I have a blender so I will give it a try tomorrow if there's enough in! πŸ˜€

I like to whack some spinach in my smoothies to get mroe protien, and you cant taste it at all! I usually have this for brekkie:
1 banana
handful frozen blueberries (makes it cold and has loads of antioxidants and wayy cheaper than fresh)
handful of frozen cherries (if I have them)
scoop of low fat natural yoghurt (Lancashire farm one is lush!)
big handful spinach
1/2 apple or some tinned peach slices.
and milk if its too thick

if Ive just done a work out or Im having it to replace a meal, I put a scoop or two of choco coconut protein powder which makes it taste amazing!

Momma sounds good! Hmm I'm interested in the coconut powder, I shall have a look! Yeah I buy my fruit frozen, it's way cheaper and lasts longer. I bought spinach today so ill be chucking that in too!
Discovered the other day that although I love cucumber I really don't like it in smoothies, too much of a blut taste if that makes sense.
Zara I say deffo try it! You could even have the as a dessert or a treat! I love the breakfast ones though. Think they're a fab way to start your day!

I am also trying out kale celery and cucumber in mine this week I hate cucumber so I'm hoping that if I blend it I will like it. Amy that protein powder sounds nice, where do you get it? I need to get frozen blueberries.

Let's get a recipe thread going πŸ™‚

I've just made cucumber, celery, apple, mint, pineapple, ginger, lime and spinach. Pretty good actually, I can't taste either the cucumber or celery πŸ™‚
