A few of my proudest moments ...

*I'm quite proud that I was in the Gifted programme when I was little.  I was too young to understand what an honour and achievement it was at the time; I just knew that I got to learn about cool things on the weekends.  I'm also quite proud of taking second place in the Science Olympiad in said Gifted programme.

*Being in the top 10% in the state's ACT test results.

*Being invited to join AcaDec in high school, and medalling for my essay.

*Being invited to join an invitation-only poetry class in university.

*Getting married.  It sounds cheesy, but it's true.

*Being told by my director at work that, from where he sits, I am very bright, incredibly clever and no matter what he asks, I do it, I do it quickly and the majority of the time, I get it right, which is rare.  I think at one point in this conversation, he said I was one of the brightest people he’s ever met.  He feels I can go incredibly far within the company.  He also said that there are the people who are just grunts who do their jobs, the people who maybe have something about them and the one in a million who makes you go “That’s one for the future.  That’s one we need to keep.”  And that I am that one for the future.  He then proceeded to say, "Don't thank me, because I’m not giving you a compliment.  I’m telling you how it is.”  Which is probably the greatest compliment of all.

*Being hand picked along with 11 other women in the company for the "Future Female Leaders" programme in my company, and meeting with the managing director.

*Losing four stone and 29.5 inches, and counting.  Along with that, gaining strength and definition I never thought I could achieve.  I plan on completing a Born Survivor next year, and as little as two-three years ago I would have never thought myself capable of something like that.

Click on the globe on the side bar under Meeshy's name for her shop 😉

Mine is probably my online shop too. I'm not a brilliant business person, so it's a miracle I managed it, but I've been doing it full time for 4 years now. It's been the hardest I've ever worked, but I've enjoyed (almost) every moment!

Haha oh yeah!
Your achievements are amazing intemp wow!
And janine you're an etsy inspiration!

You guys are so awesome! I enjoy reading all of your achievements 🙂

Mine are probably:
* Losing 10 kgs of overweight

* Getting through and getting a diploma from an education I really didn't want to finish. I always felt like I didn't fit in with my classmates and always felt annoying or "in the way", so I'm proud I finished with decent grades even though it was emotionally hard to go to school.

* Becoming a vegan (I know, probably not that big for everyone, but it was for me) 🙂

Totally feel you with the school thing. Assuming I pass my finals I'm entering the last year of a program I hate that gives me a lot of emotional unhappiness and stress

xo123: Hey, if I could do it so can you! 🙂 Think of it as something that will make you stronger! I tried new hobbies during my final year, just so I could have something to look forward to when I got home. It worked for me at least. Hang in there! 🙂

Getting through the 3 months of having Alex in neonatal intensive care really. I don't know how I done it, how I'm still here. My relationship was in shreds and I was in bits. I made it though.

My online shop and etsy shop too, it's been hard work building it up from nothing, but it's fun and an amazing thing to think that some people here in the UK and other countries are wearing my creations!

I'm proud of how well I've been doing with my physiotherapy that I'm currently having
