Pets- What have you got?

I put my hair lights on my cat in a halo, she fell asleep and they stayed for ages, and my dog had a red ribbon tied round her neck, some stray glitter and one of those gift wrap bows stuck to her head all day ;D

Cats love lights, Mini wears a bow well, and Ron co-ordinated a stake-out for Santa whereby to put presents in the sack he had to meet Ron first. He and Mini also helped themselves to a bit of mince pie

I have a Cornsnake, she's just over 3 years old but since we went a bit crazy in buying her a vivarium fit for a Boa she's bloody massive (reptiles grow to within their captive limits), approx. 5 feet long and she has the girth of a can of Impulse.*

I once said to a girl I worked with after she bought a kitten "I'd love to let my snake meet your kitten!", I did not mean it as inuendo even in the slightest seeing as I used the word kitten and not the obvious euphemistic P-word, plus I genuinely do have a snake but, well, there was oddness for a while. A while being until the present.

*Not sure why I used a can of Impulse as an example of the girth of my snake.  I've never seen a can of Impulse, guys do not associate with such girly things.  I've used the word girth twice now and it feels weird.

I saw one for rehoming near me and I had to really fight not to go and pick it up!

I have 1 black cat, 1 elderly rat (her sister died recently which is why she's on her own) a pond of koi, 2 golden retrievers and this handsome fella who came to live with me three months ago

Aww thank you I've had shepherds for over 20 years and lost my old girl a year ago. I wasn't going to have another but as soon as I saw him it was love. He's not the brightest spark lol, a bit of a goofball but he is a true gentleman and has fitted in with my girls like a dream. He'd never seen a cat but will happily lie on the bed with Salem so fingers crossed.
