Pets- What have you got?

Yeah you can litter train rodents, just that way. Put something with their wee on in a place where you want them to pee and keep replacing it with any fresh wee'd on bits you find so it's always fresh. They'll soon get the message.

Horace with dreadies, how cute! I love long haired hamsters, it might be the next pet when the "old man" finally gives out. My old rat is so doddery and frail. I cant understand how he's lived so long! He still acts like a baby, even though his body can't keep up.

i have 2 dogs, 3 fancy gold fish, 2 giant affican lan snails, and a good old hamster.

My daughter has a hamster, which managed to break out of its ball this evening and hide behind the laundry basket. 🙂

Hahaha, not funny Matty, don't laugh at the naughty hamster.... bwahahahaha!

My mother's hamster did that and actually got outside the house and hid in the boiler cupboard! Took them two days to find her, luckily she was fine, she chewed through the bin bag and ate rubbish for two days... Ewww!

My cousin had a hamster called Houdini who really lived up to his name. He escaped and disappeared for two weeks. They put food trails around the house and even tried sitting in the dark silence to trick him out of hiding. At the time they were doing up the bathroom and there was a little gap between the floorboards and the base of the toilet. My cousin is merrily sitting on the bog one day when who should appear from said gap? Houdini! Still love that story even though it was like 13 years ago!

yeah i lft the cage open one nite.. and he made home under my bed and the little f88ker kept coming out from under my bed and running off... but i caught him.. then when i threw the bed out a few months later.... he really went to town under my bed!!

My friend had one when he lived at home in Norway. He let her run around his room all the time then he lost her for a few days. He was so worried! Then one day he went to his sister's wedding, dressed in his tux and opened his cupboard to get out the only box of smart shoes he had and the box had a hole! The hamster had made a home in his shoes! Used one as a toilet and made a hole in the other so she could get out of the toe end lol!

Love cheeky little rodent stories!

When I was a kid I had manx mice and my mum hated them. She gave in and let me have them cos her only argument to me getting mice was that she didn't like their tails.
One of them escaped in the middle of the night when I was ill, so I was pretty much dead to the world and my mum couldn't wake me up. She was doing her nut, totally freaking out and I'm just snoring away.
Was forced to give them up two days later. I'd love to get more one day, but I've never seen anyone selling them since.

Cheeky rodents! Here's mine tonight, I let her play on the bed with my piles of laundry 😀 Excuse the bra in the photo hah! She had a good nibble on that. Her name's Bitsy and she's ace <3

I'm a bit worried about her though, she seemed a lot more hyper and jumpy tonight than usual and her eyes seem a bit red around the eyeballs 🙁 Hope she's okay..

I'm getting another snake tomorrow  ;D Another corn snake to add to my collection...and our new boa constrictor should arrive next weekend, woo hoo!
