Lol yeah, that is true. I do have friends in 'the industry' though, and they work really bloody hard for their money. There is a lot of money in the film and TV industry, but there's (as usual) very few people who really make masses of money. A lot of the other wages are very decent, but hard earned 🙂

I was thinking about this earlier. The closest I can think is its like the file sharing website and torrents etc. On their own they aren't illegal, but it's what we then use them for. Using unblock us isn't illegal in itself (though I wonder what the view on masking/rerouting your IP is in law?) but what we use it for is. I've also read Netflix has started cracking down on it, probably because of pressure from the industry. The mo they feel that Netflix is allowing people to break the licensing laws, the less likely they are to give them license to show their content.

Oh I'm very aware of that, I have a lot of friends who graduated from uni doing TV stuff last year and they're all working incredibly hard to try to make it in the industry.

I meant big TV companies as an entity rather than any specific people that work for them.

The one thing we don't realise with how much money studios make is just how much money they LOSE! Projects started that never get made, projects that get a pilot and never get any further, projects that totally bomb. Not to mention the absolutely crazy money spent on marketing. It can be more than half the budget of the actual movie!

If anyone had Amazon Prime, watch The Americans. And ooooh more House of Cards at the end of this week, I'm so excited! I know not everyone has liked it, but I LOVE it 😀

I'm watching once upon a time on netflix at the moment. Loving it because I watched seasons 1 & 2 when it was on channel 5, and once they stopped showing it no one else picked it up over here. So now I'm catching up on season 3 😀 It's a bit cheesy but I do love it!

I've just finished watching the 5th Season of Pretty Little Liars, I became obsessed with after the first episode!! I 100% binge watched it! I've now just finished the 1st episode of American Horror Story, my brother keeps telling me to watch Breaking Bad but I watched the first 30-40mins of it & just wasn't feeling it. Mayne I'll try & give it another go.

My hubby and I just watched The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and laughed the whole way through 🙂
I watched all of Breaking Bad by myself. I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but by the 3rd episode of season 1 I was hooked. The character development in that show is phenomenal, IMO!

I've just started watching Stargate Atlantis series 1. I loved the Stargate movie, but never watched any of the tv series when they were on tv, just never got round to it. Decided to watch the Atlantis ones first just because the whole idea of ruins of atlantis seems pretty cool  :laugh:

Omg The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is the best XD! I put in on expecting an average but fun, maybe slightly girly comedy, but it was so much more! I ended up binge watching the whole thing in one day :p

My hubby and I laughed so hard we cried through a few of those episodes!! Tittus is my favorite! It cracked me up when he was turning back into a man from the werewolf! I almost died when he started howling in the street...lol!!!
