*hugs* for everyone.
I hope everything turns out ok/looks up soon for you all.
I cashed a cheque into my bank on friday and it's not not cleared 🙁 It was a tax rebate one, I am going to use the money for my first wholesale order with barryM, but it's still not in my account! It's no biggie as barryM haven't sent my invoice yet anyway, but I'm getting worried! It'll probably be in my account by tomorrow I think...
I hope everyone feels happier soon (big hugs)
Any Old Actress - Could it be that he's staying with friends but is just being sulky and not telling anyone? I had an ex that did that once, just upped and left, no one knew where he was for about a week - turned out he was staying with a uni friend and wanted people to worry. I hope things get better for you x
One of my course tutors died on Monday, He only taught us for a year (got diagnosed with cancer last christmas) but his presence was a life changer to so many of us. He was only 42 and has two young children, it's really sad and I don't know how to feel. He genuinely did change my life.
I want to contact my course leader because when he told us Nic had cancer he was obviously so overwhelmed that he couldn't say it without crying but over email feels so impersonal and I'm sure he's had many people spamming his inbox about it.
I lost my pass holder. It's got my debit card, railcard, bus pass, uni card and more in it. All my important stuff that I need every day is in there. And the stupid bus company aren't picking up theirb phone so I can't even see if it went to lost property or something. :'''''(
It is perfect curl-up-with-a-book-and-diet-hot-chocolate weather ... and I'm stuck behind a desk, filing and checking figures.
This blows.
I reallllllllllllllllllllly don't like some of my husband's friends.
It was one of them's birthday yesterday, so 16 people went for a curry. Out of 16 of them, I can count on one hand the number of people who didn't behave like monkeys released from the zoo. The table was booked for 8pm and some of them were already so drunk they cold barely stand by the time they arrived. It took nearly an hour to order. One bloke knocked almost a full pint of lager over me. People were daring each other to eat spoonfuls of lime pickle. Birthday boy and his fiancee had a stand up row before the main course had even turned up. Husband and I paid up as soon as we'd finished our meals and scarpered quickly because one bloke at the other end of the table was retching and I was terrified.
I was so embarrassed I apologised to the restaurant manager when I left. He gave me an After Eight 🙂
I KNOW I and my friends didn't behave like that when we were their age (mid twenties). WTF is wrong with these people??
Oh my god I would have been mortified Tabitha! I hate hate hate stuff like that, and I usually end up getting very argumentative with people that act that way. The manager would have been really appreciative that you went over, I always am when people apologise to me at work.
Ughh I'm going to various fancy dress things this month (yay!) but the first one is on Saturday and I'm going to be a mermaid. I have a shell bra thing that I'm decorating and wearing over a beaded chiffony top (the sort you see about at the mo) but I'm not sure what to wear on the bottom. I was going to get these cool green metalicy leggings and customise them with scales, but someone at work said I should wear a chiffon skirt so I don't know what to do now :(:(
What a pathetic moan :/
I think the leggings would be much better 🙂
I told hubby I was never doing that again and he agreed with me. He's out with some of them tonight - they've gone to a rave in Manchester - and he said if they start up again he's just going to sod off and dance on his own all night and sit separately from them on the train home He is a bit older than them - not as old as me though 😉 - and I think he's starting to see that they're not very grown up...
I keep having random panic attacks for no reason =[ As soon as I'm alone anywhere I start feeling really nervous, then start shaking, hyperventilating and crying. Its happened a few times now, I don't know what to do =[ I haven't slept properly for days.
Okay I know I don't have supermodel legs but when they don't even fit into size L/XL tights I get quite annoyed... I'm only a size 12 : god damn primark
I've been feeling really frustrated lately. I'm a non-professional photographer and it's my passion, I love it so so much. A few days ago I went to a photography studio with my mum and sister to have my niece's photo taken (her dressed up as a fairy, it was so cute). I spent about 2 hours in there and it made me realise how much I want that, to be a photographer with my own studio and everything, but I'm 23 and I'm no where near close to doing something like that. I know perfectly well how to photograph people and nature etc, I've been self taught over 8 years but I don't have any fancy degrees or anything to say I can do it and because of my anxiety I can't go to college.
I'd like to start off just working from home, building my own studio but I live with my parents (out of choice, I hated living by myself) and I just have my bedroom, no spare rooms or anything. Then I start thinking that I'll get my own place but the thought of that is horrible to me. Bleh, I don't know what to do to get this started, I want it so much.

I love primark tights but thier sizing is so off! I think they were made for children cause i never think they are long enough either.
Exo - My photos that I had done with Jessica Augarde Photography with me surrounded by origami Here - https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.392531537469337.88710.358175017571656&type=3 - were shot in her spare bedroom! It wasn't a large space, but she created backdrops with different fabrics & lighting that she already had in her house! So maybe you could do it in your room? So there are ways to do things without a studio/lots of money 🙂 And outside shots were done in the local park and in her garden! Maybe start out taking photos of friends and then branch out? x
those are awesome 🙂
I do take some photos in my house, at the moment I'm taking my niece's portrait every month, for a year for my sister. I also do a lot of nature stuff.
I'm gonna buy some nice fabric soon and make some backdrops, I'll also start collecting random objects and stuff to use for shoots. I have been asked to photograph my cousins wedding next year too which I'm really excited for.
Yeah, some of the best photographers I've seen recently are working out a corner in the living room or whatever. Aim for studio space, but in the UK it's premium, so start in spaces you have at home and work up. I mean, if you're into pin up photography, the kitchen is a great place for shoots along those lines. It just takes a bit of playing around.
Loads of the ones that have shot stuff for me have done them all around the house etc.
