Mice have been eating my lentils 🙁

Oh no! Throw away anything edible they may have walked on. Much as I love mice they are terribly unhygienic

Oh no 🙁 I've been there so many times. I once lived next to a brewery suppliers (who also were my crappy landlords) and they just dumped stuff out the back. I got totally overrun with mice to the point they would just run around in front of me. Couldn't eat anything at home, stopped even keeping food in the house! It was rubbish. Another place I lived in was above a cafe. The owners refused to believe we had mice because of them (and the gay bar that closed down next door) even though we could hear them running up and down the walls day and night! It wasn't until one ran in front of a customer they finally believed us! Gah.

Anyway, I hope you get it sorted. Mice are very sweet... But not so great when they're wild and in your food! You can get overrun so quickly too.

Yeah, I never used to mind them but my house last year got overrun with them to the point where they stopped even running away from us. And now they gross me out.

Luckily I'm back in halls this year and I'm pretty sure they will sort it out 🙂

Living in central london has taught me a thing or two about keeping mice away.
Try putting some peppermint extract on cotton balls around your kitchen and any places you think they might be using to get in/out.
Mice cant deal with the strong smell and wont go in.
Bacon fat is a very good way into luring them. I prefer using humane traps and release them at the park.
Keep food in plastic containers rather than the plastic bags they come in.

Sons gone to his aunts for a few days, unfortunately I still have a cold & now have big red sore eyes due to conjuntivitous, so looks like dinner out with the other half will have to wait *ott*

I found my half sister on Facebook and I'm not sure what to do. I've always wanted to meet her but I don't want to kind of intrude on her life? I'm not even sure if she knows I exist so I'm not sure if I should contact her or not...

Our neighbour from two doors down just won't leave us alone! He knocks on our door at least 3 times a day asking for my mum, even when she's told him she's going out!

Going through a bit if a tough time today, so thought I'd do a big clear out as I tend to throw things into drawers/cupboards & forget about them then wonder why my flat is so full of junk. Now I've started I wish I hadn't, the flat looks like a bomb has literually just gone off & it's not as good a distraction as I thought it'd be.  *gun*

Bit my tongue in my sleep the other night and now it's now so sore! I've been using mouthwash to keep it clean but I can't talk properly and hurts to eat lol

I went into town today and loads of people said really negative things about my hair and appearance, including an old man getting right up close to my ear and saying "what the hell do you think you look like" 🙁
