Maybe I'm just a cow! 😉 I'm pretty hard headed in some respects I suppose. I'm lucky that most people who know me well, know that I'd take their thoughts into consideration... but mostly ignore it! 🙂
I agree with Janine. I also think when it comes to the day, then those things like creating a balance in the photos isn't going to matter to you as much as it does now. When you look at your photos in years to come, are you going to be thinking "Oh, no... the photo is really off balance." or "Aww, look how cute my nieces looked in these photos. I'm happy they were part of my big day.". The question is, would you rather have 2 people you love in your photos or 2 barely friends in the photos just so the photos look balanced? That's how I would think of it, but that's just me!
Your dress sounds really lovely by the way!
I'm also hard headed. I know when I get married I'm going to p*ss my in-laws and grandparents off since it's going to have a dark colour scheme, rustic, no church, geeky/heavy metal vibe and I'll have bright purple hair. I can already see and hear the disapproving nods and comments from them. 😛
[Self indulgent moan alert]
I'm feeling pretty crappy today. The man is moving out today. It's a positive step for both of us, and absolutely the right thing. But it still feels hellish watching him load his stuff into the car. Not quite got my head round calling him my ex either. After almost 7 years together today is definitely not one of the good ones.
^ SoniaJM, i hope you're feeling better, i sympathise because i was going through a similar thing a couple of weeks ago. it's good that you know it's for the best, even though it's still gonna be pretty crap! *hugs*
jealousy is still an issue for me which is bugging me today. when i was with my ex, i was crazy jealous over everyyything. but since leaving him i have re-united with an old internet friend and we're pretty close friends now, but i still find jealousy takes over. with a friend! ugh! i know it's crazy to get jealous over a friend but i can't help it! driving me mad..
@ deloria--- i avoided all this drama with my wedding planning by saying "it's a surprise!!!" to like, *everything*. also, my bridesmaids wore short black dresses with royal blue crinoline underneath. got huge compliments!
Also----- where's that baby! keep us updated!
My doctors still failing to work out why I'm ill and in pain, constantly in hospital for tests.
More a freaking out than a moan >.<
o dear second time in a row im posting on here, but im really somewhat heartbroken by this;
One of the cats at my training space(my coach runs Aerial Straps classes in a friends warehouse) has cats aids, full blown ill kitty, skeletal, you can see all the bones, vomits, dihorea, rarely eats, can't even get up stairs.
Been like this a while. Owner buggered off to America to try and marry into green card. Guy who lives in warehouse looking after cats, saying he can't afford to take him to vets etc and if I have £500 to get him put to sleep I should do it. So I made vets appointment. But then get refused to let me take him.
This guy is getting kicked out of warehouse in two weeks for not paying bills. His plan is, the druggies beneath might be taking over the space and will look after cats.
Even though the cat is suffering massively. He then said if I can't handle seeing the cat like that I shouldn't come to the warehouse where my classes are held. I was too shocked and upset. So I left and told my coach il be back at classes when it moves to new space. But I phoned rspca, which I know the guy will know its me who phoned. So even when classes move im worried he will make it difficult for me. Even worse everyone including my coach is heart broken to see the cat so ill and believe he should be put down, but no one spoke up when it came to crunch time. I'm horrified people are so cruel
Also no cats have been neutured or vaccinated. Have fleas, occasional they put the supermarket deflea stuff on. Warehouse covered in vomit, which the poor kitty pretty much projectile vomits and looks terrified by when he does.
I stuggle to understand how someone can let a cat suffer so and how people say 'its none of your bussines, so you shouldnt get involved' but i just cant stand by watching this cat who has been suffering so long. Ive never understood how people can stand idly by when something terrible happens.

You did the right thing calling the RSPCA. They will most likely put the cat to sleep as they will not want to see it suffering any more. You did everything within your power to help the poor thing. If it's going to cost that much to take the cat to the vets then that's something that is completely beyond what I would be capable of paying, especially when the pet isn't mine.
The cats are obviously suffering, and you have informed the right people. For all you know, other people may have been wanting to make the same call but were afraid to do so. The cat has AIDS for effs sake, how can they think its ok to sit by and do nothing?! I would have done exactly the same thing xx
when i phoned my vet they said it would only cost around £100, not money i have lying around, but i would find a way. I just hated how they were making excuses, it was either its not there cat, they cant afford it, they didnt want to responsibilty, then when its offered to them, they still refused.
i hope the rspca go soon, sad thing is all the healthier cats around there, proberly have cat aids now too, so at some point they will start getting ill, could be months or years though.
some people are egits, they seem to think if there not physically harming them then its not animal cruelty, they dont understand that neglecting the poor thing so much that its dying slowly from starvation is also animal cruelty
The cat needs euthanising. I have never heard of a vet charging £100 for euthanasia, that is a ridiculous amount for a cat. Usually they work out the charge by the amount of drug they need to use which is dependent on the weight of the animal. A sick cat is not going to need a very high dose and many vets will waive the fee in these types of cases.
I am not a huge fan of the RSPCA but i hope they do their job in this case. You absolutely did the right thing calling them.

Is that the place were Boldo teaches?
My bf trains with him and i have been to watch a few times. Those cats are lovely. It is so sad that they would allow that to happen to them.
yup and f**k i thought no one on here would ever know about straps let alone of someone who trains there, so thought it would be safe to rant with no one knowing who i was. But yes it was there and the guy wouldnt let me take the cat to the vets, even though i would be the one paying
i think im now digging my own grave >.< Please dont tell them i called them, well not untill they have been, after that i know he will work out it was me.
I think this is a sinus infection and not a cold.
I'll feel better for a day, then I feel like I've been hit by a truck again. I woke up this morning and my glands have swollen back up, my face hurts and my nose is crazy itchy, as are my eyes, and my ears feel blocked up. Think I'll have to go to the doctor's on Monday 🙁
Oh, and Amazon Instant Video have removed Castle from their stream list and put it to rent or buy only. I was halfway through season 3. Not cool.
🙁 I hope you feel better soon!
I'm on holiday and so I'm swimming a lot (love swimming!). I brought along my fitbit flex and, as its water resistant to 10 metres it didn't really occur to me to take it off in the water. Well, wish I had. I killed it! As I've worn it swimming (turns out that they mention somewhere deep in the fine print that it's not recommended to wear it swimming or something) I've voided the warranty. Of course. I'm so used to using it now, I feel a bit lost without it and can't get a new one for a week! Silly really, but irritating (and not exactly cheap!).
