Happy New Year! Any Hair Resolutions?

Happy new year 🙂

I guess mine are try to stop using straighteners so much, which should be easier at the length it is now. Stop calling random hairdressers at the last minute to get a haircut and settle with one you like (almost certainly I won't stick to this, I normally get one or two cuts I like and then the hairdresser suddenly starts doing it differently and I lose confidence in them!). Stick to just doing the roots now my hair is growing out again. When it's short the temptation is too great to just pull the bleach through to the ends and remove the last traces of dye on the ends! I have bad breakage on the ends now due to that and over using straighteners when it was a horrible length.

I intend to bleach my roots more frequently or not at all lol. I only bleached them twice last year, and long roots are a patchy PITA, especially when your natural colour is as mixed as mine is.
My other resolution is to wash it more often, I have been letting it go for two weeks at a time which is probably not good for it.
Toying with chopping a load off, but will probably chicken out and just take a couple of inches off

Mine is to only bleach my roots and let my hair grow!

Mine is to let my hair air dry and embrace my natural waves. Now that its healthier, my wavy hair is starting to look nicer.

Happy New Year! I fleetingly toyed with the idea of letting my natural colour grow out yesterday, I saw how close to it the faded brown dye I've got over the bleached bits looked and for a minute there it seemed do-able! Realistically I'm going to continue to try to be nicer to my hair in general and let it grow a bit (should probably try to grow the bleach out first whilst it's pretty short but I think I'm having some kind of midlife crisis and really want longish hair all of a sudden!

I also plan on growing my hair and for now I want to stay clear of bleach or have my trusted hairdresser only do my roots since I'm rubbish at doing only roots myself. I've cut a lot of dry ends out, but it's still dry, especially on one side of my head (odd..!), so I want to grow it and cut those parts off and stay with blues and greens so I don't get the urge to suddenly bleach it all and go the opposite direction. I still have pink dye, but otherwise it's all blues and greens and yellows (to make greens with). I forgot purples, but eh. Not too much purple left.
