Good Vibrations

Argh Intemp you will have a blast at NIN! I went to their Toronto show in October. The light show is just...well, you've never seen anything like it! Mr Reznor has certainly upped his game since the last tour. Definitely worth the ticket price (I paid $125 a ticket for mine and wasn't disappointed!)

I had to send my presents back to the states in two parcels this year (plus a third for some treats), and I was getting really worried because one box of presents made it there on the 10 Dec and then nothing, but my sister said the second box of presents arrived yesterday!  The treats can be delayed until after Christmas, I don't care (though I do hope they get there today), but I'm so happy that the second box of presents made it in time for Christmas!

I sent them out 30 November thinking they'd have plenty of time to get there first class airmail, and this is the first year I've not sent them via Parcel Force ... it's also the last year I don't use Parcel Force!

Also, the second box from my family to me arrived this morning 😀

House is tidy, and everything's ready for Christmas Day tomorrow! All I have to do is wrap presents tonight, which I'll do while I watch a Christmas film with a glass of Tia Maria 🙂 yay christmas!

After 6 days and 4 hours without electricity (we had a bad ice storm)... having the the utility restored made me feel like SNOOPY... and I actually DID the happy dance.

Now... to take a nice HOT shower!!!  😀

Today I went out to a shopping centre and one girl told me she wanted my hair, then two people asked me where I got my new starwars leggings from 🙂 It cheered me up because I was freaking out about how I looked this moring.

1) Visited my little local Afro-Caribbean hair shop today and realised they're a mini-Sally's when it comes to basics - all volumes of peroxide, blue and white bleach, application brushes... stuff I hadn't really gone to look for there before (of course besides their fabulous semis and umpteen hair care products), and all at a bargain!

2) On the way there, visited a charity shop and found a few clothing items (as I usually do), went to pay and learnt it was 50% off everything today, yay.

3) Small 'good vibration'... almost relieved now not to think about bleach baths for the purposes of lightening my lengths, as they're stained and as light as they're going to get, so no more worry about putting bleach all over my hair now, as I always get so nervous doing that!

doing well exercising again. Did 15miles after work. even though all I wanted to do was watch the almighty Johnsons (its amazing everyone should watch it. especially intempestivity. I think you'd love it! ) also starting the transition to veganism. exciting times!

I'm pescaterian and love Quorn products in lieu of meat and chicken... I nearly buy them out at the local supermarket. 😀

I think (although haven't checked) some contain milk I think.  I like tofu though so is all good 😀

Yeah I couldn't have most quorn stuff when I was vegan cause of the egg & milk. I'm vegetarian but don't eat dairy for health reasons, tho I do eat things that contain traces of milk & eggs. Good luck Pippa!
