Yesterday was my last Tuesday of the year, and I only have a handful of working days left.  I've somehow managed to get my boss to agree to let me take almost half of December off--I'm on countdown now!

I just dyed my friends hair turquoise from a very dark red/ brown...it looks awesome!! She was worried it would go patchy and it hasn't at all! Literally there were 4 different colours going on and I managed to even it out. Directions turquoise has definitely changed since I used it though. It was much bluer before and thicker, not it seems greener and not as thick. Very odd. Her hairs more greeny, looks awesome, like a forestry green turquoise 😀

@meeshybop that sounds really pretty! I bet it was a lot of fun seeing her hair change so dramatically

Meeshy, yay for happy outcomes in hair dying!  The turquoise I used was more blue than green I think... but I've only had three pots of it and they were all from mid summer, and I do recall it being quite thick.  It sure does cover well!  🙂

I love candles so much I taught myself how to make them.  I burn them nearly every day in the fall and winter.  😀

I'm happy because, even if I miss my ex dearly because she was basically my best friend, she made new songs !
I think she's talented my oh my.
She deserves to be listened to.

I got a yankee candle today too, Black Cherry, its my favourite smell 🙂 why do they have to be so expensive though  xD

I tend to get the £1 small ones from asda, and only get the big jar ones occasionally. Although the tarts last ages in my oil burner!
My good vibe is we've got all our christmas decorations up now in the house and I've got most of the presents sorted for the kiddies, yay!

Looking forward to having a few days away in Edinburgh next week before starting my new job hopefully the week after that. Going to miss my cat while I am away though!

I just got a gift card/coupon in the mail from Yankee Candles, spend $45 and get $20 off! Woohoo!

I love Yankee Candles... especially loved the spicy scents they have for autumn - pumpkin spice or something?  Used to have that one burning in my office in the US, ha ha.  Till someone said it might be a health & safety issue.

2 days left at work before 16 lovely Christmassy days off. I am going to sleep SO much! 😀

I have a job interview on Monday for a Junior Designer position, a tiny bit of nerves is beginning to set in but I've got the gift of the gab so I'll be fine when I set foot into the building.

The MD is interviewing me, said he's used to bright coloured hair because his step daughter has bright blue hair - cha-chiiing! Still going to go in with mainly natural hair and a little streak of colour just in case I don't get the job.
