I have a job interview on Wednesday for a temporary (6-9 months) promotion at work, which involves travelling round the country to check the accuracy of other people's work. It's in Dudley (I live in Hastings), so I have to travel there on Tuesday and stay overnight to get to the interview on Wednesday morning. I've booked Monday off work, so I'm not back in the office until Thursday now! yay! Should also find out at the interview when I'll know the result, so I shouldn't have that horrible waiting thing when you're not sure how long it'll take to find out!

Tonight's plans are to watch a couple of shows about cupcakes that I sky+'d while doing my nails, if my friend doesn't show up for a visit.
If my friend shows up, tonights plans are to cuddle her son while having a good old goss.
Either way, should be an ok night.

My son bought me a nodding dog, it's right next to me at the computer table. LOL! I have no idea why he felt I should have one. He went to the sweet shop, saw it and bought it for me. Nutter!

work called me to ask me to cover someone's shift tomorrow afternoon, I said yes because I DESPERATELY need the money, but it's kinda sad, because I was supposed to be going back to kent tomorrow afternoon for a few days to see my family for probably the last time for a whiiiile. So I called my parents and they said I could still come down for the one day, but I pointed out that I need to spend that day getting my hair cut and dyeing it, and I didn't want my time with my family to be entirely about sorting out my hair. So my mum gave my dad £15 and he transferred it into my account so I can take a train down there on Wednesday morning 😀 Sometimes I love my parents so much I could literally cry.

On a similar note, I just bought plane tickets for me and the OH to see my mom and sister for a week next month.

My friend who is a recovering heroin addict, who then was moved onto methadone, became addicted to that. Well he's now clean from both! Yaaaay. I'm so proud o him! Especially cos o all the chat about addictions lately, makes me extra proud of him. Gonna make him a medal 😀
