Maybe not, but it's a nice effect anyway, and it *looks* labour-intensive even if it isn't 🙂

My happy:  I had an awesome birthday yesterday, and the OH had a hello-kitty themed party tea.  There's still cake for tonight, yaaay!

(And, despite all my cake eating and treating of late, I've still managed to lose three pounds.  I don't know how, but I'll take it!  Back to normal on Monday, though.  Ooh I have to experiment with bentos ...)

happy day, even though i'm pretty much a loner this weekend, my mum's caved in and decided to take me into town with her boots card (we never shop at boots really, so she's been saving her points for AGES) and buying me some home bleach stuff again with the money on it so i can bleach bath tonight and dye hair tomorrow 😀

Yay everyone!

That sounds like a great time squishy!

My happy is that the OH has agreed out of the blue to me getting a medusa - with no persuasion or defiant 'I'll do it anyway' stuff. He was just like yeah ok.
We're going Tuesday to get it done!!!

Think we might have an invasion of the bodysnatchers kind of event going on.....

Pippa, your hair looks *amazing* in that photo!

I got surprise cards and gifts when I came back to work yesterday.  Was totally unexpected, really touched <3

Pippa I nearly wee'd when I saw that it was you so I can't imagine how excited you were haha!

Aww Squishy, thats lovely... its always nice when people show that they care 🙂

I've balanced out all the negatives: I have no friends or social life thus no money (rare though it is) gets spent SO...

I'm picking up some new tiny friends on friday and I'm SO excited!!!
Hairless rats, absolute sweeties with nothing but a tiny afro on their nose. EEEP!

when we were friends i chose to turn her into a zombie for  my project, it's turned out really good, but i guess she doesn't really care, but i'm over the moon proud with it sssoooo 😀

Pippa, that is the bestest! Hair looking so awesome!

Yay for hairless rats, leg waxing, zombie friends, cake, gifts and wristbands!

By the way Mathurine, that cat is amazing and I may come and rob your house for it!

My happy is that I got a medusa piercing today at the new tattoo place in my town and the couple in there are so lovely and friendly and am mega excited to get my sleeve done there when it's designed properly (they're gonna help loads).
Didn't get the usual super-happee that I usually get when I have a tattoo or piercing though. Can only put it down to my current down-ness. Never mind. I gotsa medusa.

Pippa, you are now the most worshipped person on this site. o_o Enjoy.

This has been the best day for a long while.
Managed to motivate myself enough to go to Birmingham with the boything to get his laptop back from the fixer people.

Got back. Found out that my friend's, who had died last year,  mother just had a baby this morning! 🙂 They named him Leo, after mine and that friend's favourite name. They also sing him the lullaby 'you are my sunshine', which I had told them was very important to me, as it closely related to my friend. They now plan to sing it to him regularly!

I also had the best conversation with her sister. Since I only knew the friend on the internet, despite us being best friends, It's difficult for her sister and friends to talk to me without feeling a bit weird about it, but me and her get on like a house on fire! I learnt what Scottish Tablets were, and that Leo had been bought a book about a hairy haggis! xD
(They're Scottish, by the way.)

She ALSO told me that if I ever feel the need to, I can go and visit them for a weekend!
I'd like to go and stay with them in a few months, since they have alot going on now, and it would be too overwhelming for all of us. I'd also like to visit with the dead friend's boyfriend before she passed away, because I know him the best out of all the others. (Don't worry, guys, I'm not gonna rob him. :P)

Oh! Oh! Oh!!
AND!! This morning, someone who I had as a friend on facebook, I used to be friends with them but we drifted apart alot, she saw my photo's. What's so amazing about that, you ask? She's writing a book. Fill in the blanks! 😀
She's not a famous writer or anything, in fact I think this is her first book that she's going to publish, but she wants me to be the front cover! I'm going to get to work as soon as I can!

The only down side to it is that she hasn't finished the book yet, so it could be aaaaaages before it gets released. 🙁
But still! I'm stoaked! 😀

Edit: Almost forgot! Even though me and my ex broke up on bad terms, and I broke up with him for all the right reasons, we've had a really, really nice conversation or two over the past few days. I'm just so happy that we can get along.

[Don't worry guys. I'm dedicated to my man, and the ex seems dedicated to his current girl. Neither of us are going to try it on. :P]

Sorry to hear about your friend, Hazillian, but the rest is wonderful news <3

I'm glad for little things today.  One more day til weekend (ok, two if you count today) and my headache that I had for a day and a half seems to have disappeared.

I also need to arrange a meal out with my friends for a belated birthday celebration.  I think the local italian place will do just fine : 3

so I was gushing over an INCREDIBLE photographer yesterday, the kind whose stuff you'd want on your wall ( http://www.modelmayhem.com/1671518) and today he sent me the following message :

Thanks for the tag and your kind comments, as it happens I was considering contacting you about doing a shoot, the only thing making me hestitate is that I'm so far behind working on shoots I've already done. However, since in the past I've missed out on working with people when I've left it until I was ready, I'd rather shoot with people when I can. I'd love to arrange a paid shoot with you in the near future. I’m looking to do a shoot to act as the starting point for some more digital composite images like the ones on my portfolio (see also my main portfolio at www.phphotoimages.co.uk), some ideas would involve artistic nudity. The shoot would be for about 4 hours and be at my place in Crawley, where I’ve got a dedicated (but small) studio and I would expect to provide most if not all the costumes and props . My nearest station is Three Bridges which is about 35 min from London Bridge/Victoria on the train, just off junction 10 of the M23 by road. I would of course be willing to pay reasonable travel expenses and I would need a model release signed. I'm very happy to give models copies of finished images but can't guarantee when and how many you'll get as the photos effectively end up as stock and images get finished when the background gets made and sorted.  Let me know your rates and availability.
All the best
Paul

.... *SQUEEEEEEE*
