It's a funny one that. One of the last taboo swears.

My happy is that I got my 'your stuff will be here very soon you lucky thing' email from beeunique.
Minor, but it works.

I really don't understand why the c-word is still so shocking.  I can honestly say that I really have no feelings one way or the other about that word, just total ambivalence.  Personally, I find that there are more disturbing and distasteful words for the female genitalia (I won't post them on here - family friendly and all!), and I really don't have a problem with people saying the c-word.
Having said that, I don't actually use it very much in my everyday speech, but I don't tend to swear an awful lot anyway, probably because I spend most of my working day talking to people on the phone in a professional capacity, and tailoring my language to that, I guess it just carries over into my personal time too.

This is a bit of a sad thing to be so happy about BUT...
I'm actually practically weeing with excitement because my Michael Mcintyre audiobook has finally decided to download 😀
Now I can listen to his heavenly voice all day, every single day, FOREVER

Hahahaha! Life. Complete. (ish)

LOL! Nice one. He has such a cute face, I can't imagine listening to his voice alone would be so appealing but.. Whatever floats your boat. ;D

I'm happy to be here! Seriously! On a doll forum I belong to a lady takes my advice to other people and shoots it down all the time. She did it again today although I'm sure she doesn't mean to. I never get that here so thank you all for being your wonderful selves. I'm proud to be here with ya all!

Awwh Matty, how sweet 🙂
She's obviously just jealous, and trying to boost herself by putting you down!
And I fall in love with voices, its my thing 😛 Boat officially floated!

Ahhh I love Michael McIntyre! His voice is indeed incredible! 😀

Aw Matty I hate when people online seem to follow you around being mean, it happened on a forum I used to be on and it's so pathetic.. they blatantly wouldn't have the guts to act that way towards you in real life! Hiding behind a screen.. cowards!

My happy today: My boyfriend and I have both got today off, which is a rare occasion! We went to the garden centre for a look around and had a cream tea 😀 which is my favourite thing ever! And we've got a nice dinner from Tesco (their Finest range deal - a main course, side dish, dessert and bottle of wine for £10. The bottle of wine alone was over £9 so we saved another £9 doing the deal! Don't know how they make any profit from that whatsoever!)

Oh and I bought an Ab-Belt for £14, it feels awesome and relaxy!

She doesn't follow me to be mean it's just that every now and then I help someone out with some advice or info and all I get is "well actually Matty if you do that you'll get...." blah blah blah. Still the lady I was trying to help did actually come in and say my advice was comforting so nerrrrr to silly person on other forum. 😛

Mathurine you are awesome and she's jealous because she's not you. Heck, I wish I was you sometimes cos I would love to be so artistic (used to be but lost confidence) and would love dreads, but I have dodgy vertabrae at the top of my neck and don't think it would be wise cos of how I have to sleep.

My hair dyes came today! Yaaaaay!!!

Pippa: 😛

random: Ooh I have a dodgy neck so I sympathise.

Hun if you're arty maybe this will help. I always used to draw with pencils, never even attempted anything else. Was naff at watercolours so I assumed I couldn't paint. Well a garden centre near me started doing these paint by numbers acrylics on canvas things, big ones for a couple of quid and there were 3 types so I got one of each and me and the kids picked the one we wanted and painted them. Well I was shocked at how well I could paint with acrylics! I've been painting with them ever since! I hadn't done anything arty for ages before that, maybe a touch of artists block I dunno but I just wasn't motivated but since discovering acrylics I've tried all sorts of other new things. My daughter got me into air dry clay sculptures and I love it!

So maybe you just need a change of pace. Find a new medium to work with (no I don't mean Allison DuBois!) and see how you go. It'll give you back yer mojo, promise.

HA! LOL! I used to like that show but we only got freeview and it's never on.

Yeah, you're probably right. Used to write a lot and draw, but had a rough patch and was convinced everything I did was rubbish and got told I couldn't follow my dreams and try to get published as it was a pipe dream and would come to nothing. Wrote and drew the pictures (which moved and had pop-ups) of some childrens books when I was younger, so maybe I should dig them out and update them.

I'm so glad I joined this forum, you are all so lovely and it's nice to be able to talk to people who've never met me, but care nonetheless.
