Ooh, I forgot about this one. xD
But yes~.
These may/may not be bad quality photo's of 'em, but these are some paintings/drawings I've done.

The one I painted for my boyfriend's Dad, to say thanks for paint:

This next one was to test out different ways to use the brush, so it isn't the best I could do, but I'm planning on fixing it soon.

Aaand finally, an actual drawing, all in biro pen. It was my first ever realistic eye, and I was soooo not happy with the fact that it ended up being drawn in a note book. It was done a couple of years ago, too.

The text at the bottom reads: "Just because her eyes sparkle, it doesn't mean that she's not trapped inside."

I was really doubtful on how the colours would turn out. I originally wanted it orange and yellow, but I gave up halfway through and just slapped on the red. xD Thank god it looks okay.

That's really good, Poh.  I love the weregirl one.

Love the eyes, Hazillian : )  I've always been able to draw the outline of an eye pretty well, but always fail at the iris--they're really impressive.

Thanks. I never really learnt how to draw eyes. I just experimented with techniques, looked at a few pictures and copied a few to get the feel of the style, then let loose with any art materials I could get my grubby little paws on. xD

Only recently have I properly looked at 'official techniques' to draw eyes. Turns out I discovered all the little tricks and tips by myself. Sure, it took a little longer, but I find that I learn better if I learn from experience, rather than a book.

Well I used to draw alot about 3 years ago but after my tablet broke I kind of lost all interest in it and only recently started trying again - but what a shame, all I have is one crappy pencil and no erasers πŸ˜›

Wow Xannie!

When I sketch I use HB pencils with an eraser on the end. My art teacher used to throw a fit! I was supposed to have all sorts of "H's" and "B's" so I had hard and soft lead etc. I just get sketching with one pencil and I keep going, I'm the same if I start a picture with a coloured pencil! I just start with it and keep drawing til it's done. I can't be faffed with changing pencils all day long.

Never had art lessons but I always sketch with one pencil as well, ink/lineout with a pen and would proceed to work digitally after that xD

Wow, Xannie, that's really well done!

Hehe, Matty, I don't see a point in playing with different pencils unless you're keeping it as a graphite drawing--the lines are just going to be painted/charcoalled over anyway XD

I don't paint over them, I just sketch and leave it there. I'll have to figure out where my old sketches are that I did when I was 14, see if I can upload them on here.
