I don't really draw anymore. I get pretty annoyed with anatomy problems, because I was taught how to draw wrong in my Art course. :/ And learning properly means starting over.
But with references I can usually overcome those problems. I just get a bit impatient.

So!
I paint now. xD I paint using watercolours, and mostly I just do eyes. Everybody knows I'm absolutely badass for any style of eyes.

I've almost mastered realistic, too. I just need to get the hang of waterlines. I'm learning how to paint from different angles, too.

Hazillian, please do! I can't do watercolours :/ my mother was an amazing watercolour painter but she hasn't picked up a paintbrush pretty much since she met my dad I think :/

so tonight I've been having trouble sleeping because I'm ill and it hurts to stay in one position for too long, so I decided to paint.  Only being in a rental accomodation I'm not risking getting paint on the walls / floor / furniture, so I'm using a handy little program on my laptop which mimics different art materials.  My friend recently sent me a load of pics from when we were 14 including some interesting ones of me being different fairy tale characters, so I decided to use the snow white one as reference for a 'painting', here's the original pic, and a detail of the face (everything else is just kinda blocked in at the mo.  So far it's taken me about 2 hours :S not sure how lol.

That's really well done, Phee : )  Can't wait to see the finished piece.

Ooh, loving it so far. It reminds me of the Gustav Klimt styles.
