Yeah it's a lot of work to get something like that up and going, but stick at it and I'm sure you'll do really well! I shall keep an eye on it and comment as you go along.
And just so it's known....I use spellcheck ;D
I just had a look and it is still full of spelling mistakes, and the Crazy Color article is mis-numbered.
If spellcheck is missing that many words you will need to get someone to proof read it for you.
Well, basically it was an experiment andthings will hopefully improve. They spelling mistakes, didn't realise there was a spell checker! ???
You said you used a spellcheck
You said you used a spellcheck
Alright, I just came to ask about the colour scheme...not to go cheek. Weh n ihave a nevel 1 course I have to do, a disabled fiance I have to look after, a house to keep, errands to run....
Sometimes you seem really nice, others you seem really demeaning,
Well, you asked for feedback, you didn't actually specify what on, so they were just pointing out things that could be improved upon which they thought would be helpful. You would benefit greatly from a proof reader, I know I'd do that if I took up blogging π
I'm sorry you have so many issues to deal with.
My honest feedback would actually be: learn to take constructive criticism and honest feedback! I tried to word it gently as I can tell you haven't maybe had experience of having to learn that yet (Any of us who have done creative courses learn that hard and fast right away) but you have to separate someone suggesting their opinion of something that can help you and someone attacking you personally - particularly if you are asking for feedback in the first place!
It can be difficult if you are under a lot of stress, many of us have a lot of conflicting priorities in life and perhaps you need to consider how much of your time this blog would realistically take up and whether it is time you can afford to spend on it. I'm sorry if you feel attacked by anyone but I don't think anybody deliberately came here to make you feel bad.
I've been blogging a lot more recently, if anyone wants to read mine. I'll copy the link here again to save you finding it http://www.rosegoldautumn.blogspot.co.uk/
π It's just a little hobby for me really, I enjoy it
To be honest a lot of what you guys resonated with me - my spellings grammar need vast improvement, I don't have the time as I am a carer for my disabled fiance and am doing a computing course (working towards a degree). When my course is over then it is somthing I can consider.....thanks for the advice guys. Just got a not over excited Lol.
*Edit : Deleted the blog*
Why did you delete it if it's something you enjoy? I just blog when I have some spare time, cause it makes me happy and it's just a nice little hobby. I think most people that blog still have lots of other things going on in their lives, and they do it just for fun π
Well, mainly because I knew that I would struggle with the work/hours needed. I have just started an OU course and I fell behind already. Once it's over then I can think about it then....will just take this as a learning experience. :-[
You may find that your course helps you improve your writing anyway, I know when I was at Uni I got better just from having to write all of the time, and from reading more.
Changed my blog address, it's now www. rosegoldautumn. blogspot. co. uk
Anyone else have a blog of any kind?x
Nice blog π But one of my friend told that it's better to have own domain and hosting. I don't have any personal experience and hope one day I would be able to start my blog.
