Ok so my friend and me have been looking at developing a dating website for us gals and guys whoaybe dress differently listen to certain music etc I don't want to say emo goth etc I hate labels but generally who here has had trouble finding people with the same music taste or stuff etc? I just want a general idea and do you think if we developed such it would help at all?
I appreciate your input if you have any 🙂

I do find it quite difficult finding people in my area who have the kind of style and tastes as me so it could be a good idea. There are of courses already many sites for "alternatives" but I don't think many people use them and they do seem marketed towards people who (don't want to sound harsh) don't find success in other dating sites. I would say study all different dating sites and try to figure out what people like and dislike about them. E.g. I have found POF (plenty of fish) to be the favorite site for many people (being free to use helps but it is not the only reason), but any sites for alternative people are practically unheard of and some seem pretty dodgy :/. I would also say be careful how you market/promote it so as not to exclude too many people, I am personally put off by such "goth/emo" sites probably because I don't see myself that way and feel that I don't fit the profile, if that makes sense.
Overall I would say there is a want for them but you would need a way to break through the crowd and make your site stand out as the one to use. If you did get a site up and running though you can sign me up 🙂
