This stuff sounds amazing, I really wish I'd known about this before I shaved off my mid-back length hair a couple of years ago :'(

At the moment my hair is mainly natural with just a bit of dye left at the bottom, tiny bit frazzled in places but fairly soft. So would it be okay for me to use this, or does your hair have to be really badly damaged?

Glad yours turned up Marte! πŸ˜€

I've just used mine for the first time....LOVE IT!!
Well the shampoo I wasn't fussed about, it made my hair tuggy but literally a tiny amount of the conditioner completely de tangled it all πŸ˜€
....then the best part...the re-constructor!!  I put it on my hair and it was like my hair was tree roots soaking up all the nutrients haha sounds weird but honestly it's how it felt, my hair felt stronger instantly after I rinsed it off! The hydrator just topped it off making it feel really silky... Happy happy happy
Thanks soo much for everyone recommending it and for the feelunique web link πŸ˜€
Defo would re purchase the re-constructor and that conditioner is epic for de-tangling...ooh and I like the the hydrator too but the Aussie 3 min miracle I'd say is just as good as that.

I use it regularly on my fine hair to help build up its strength, so I think it'd be ok to use : )

Thanks Squishy πŸ™‚ I want to get my hair into absolutely perfect condition once I've had all the remaining dye cut out, so I can bleach and start using bright colours. If I could restore it back to excellent health more quickly, it'd be great as I'm bored of being natural now πŸ™

inquisitress - I did that too, after having KILLED my hair from over processing. I went completely natural then got BORED and had to dye it! lol My hair is still in good condition after bleaching and dying I just think it's important to be careful and know when to stop or give your hair a break. πŸ˜€

Question: Does this stuff wear off? Do you need to re-do it often?

I have a product recommendation!!!! It's a heat protection spray but it leaves my hair sooooooo soft and silky, it doesn't tangle, it's low cost and it's called - Franck Provost Expert protection 180c I live in Spain and get it from my local perfumeria. I am sure it's available in other places too. 300ml was about 6 euros. It's not a repair product but it feels like it!

you need to redo until you're fixed and then maintain it once a month/6 weeks, dependent on your hair =)

Thanks pippa, is it ok to use on not so damaged hair to prevent split ends and repair minor damage? This stuff sounds like magic!! lol

over proteining(is that a word!?) is just as bad for your hair as not having enough protein. it's also very drying, so you need to deep condition. like i said i wouldnt use it more than once a month on non damaged hair, as you may cause more harm than good

i'm just looking through several online shops and even some german sellers have joico, yey πŸ˜€
Do you girls use the whole series (4 phases) or only the reconstructor?
The instructions on the website say you also need: deep clean shampoo/cuticle sealer/reconstructor/hydrater...this might just be there to make you buy more?!

I guess a normal cleansing shampoo + reconstructor will also do the trick?!

I only use the reconstructor; I've never used the shampoo or the cuticle sealer.

The intense hydrater was very good, but I get similar results with Aussie 3 min miracles.

Yaaaaaaaay! Had enough money to finally buy some more of this, aphogee is alright but it's too much to be doing every 6 weeks, also k pak smells so much nicer than aphogee!

I don't know if my hair would benefit from a reconstructor or if it doesn't really need it. My hair has never been damaged to the point where it breaks off or feels gummy/stringy, but I think it can be rather dry (my hairdresser always tells me it is even if I don't think its that bad myself!
Dunno if a bit of reconstructor and then deep condition with my aussie or alberto balsam would help??? My hair has been bleached a few times over the years, and also perm box dyed and also it's had ALOT of heat styling.

Help anyone, I'm confused!
