WEN Chaz Dean Cleansing Conditioner

Hi everyone, when I last wrote I'd ordered a trial of the WEN hair products by Chaz Dean.  A friend uses them and thinks they're the greatest so thought I'd give it a try.  I didn't WANT to like them as after calculating the monthly costs they are super expensive, at least for me.    My trial included a big bottle of cleansing conditioner, a tube of anti-frizz styling cream and a styling spray that you're supposed to use between shampoos.

Ok, my hair is thick, wavy and pretty dry.  It has a tendency to go frizzy if I don't use styling products on it.  I can say the anti-frizz styling cream and the spray were mediocre in my opinion.  I've used better  which were less expensive.  My hair still went frizzy with these.

But...unfortunately I really like the cleansing conditioner, my hair feels so nice & soft & clean after I use it! I've tried co washes before but never ended up feeling as nice as this.  Maybe I didn't use the right product or didn't use enough of it.  The directions for using the Wen cleansing conditioner has you using a LOT of product and then after rinsing they have you put on an extra shot for a leave-in conditioner as well.

Can I ask what other people use for co-washing that they like?  The other conditioners I used in the past left my hair kind of gummy and not really feeling clean.  I don't want to spend any more on Wen if I can help it!

Have you checked the ingredients for silicones?
When i co-wash, i use the garnier smooth and sleek followed by ultimate blends, both silicone free. I do use shampoo once every two weeks to remove and product buildup.
