Well... Vodka rinse.

Yup, you've read it - vodka!

It works amazingly well, as a kind of vinegar rinse.
Put some vodka in a bottle, about 1:5 if you want a kind of average measuring. [but I think it's different for every hairtype..]
It closes cuticles and makes the hair oh so shiny and increases strength.
As it's not meant for drinking purposes (haha), you cant buy the cheapest one you can find.

I love it, I also use it to clean my face once a week, it removes any dirt I couldn't get out. (must be followed by a kind of moisturizing thing)

(I'm french, sorry if I made mistakes... :/)

That makes sense, because the reason the vinegar rinse works is the acidic content of the vinegar; vodka's pretty acidic so it adds up πŸ™‚

Hehehe! This would be a totally pointless exercise for me, since I don't drink vodka (hence there is never any 'in the house'!) and it's much more expensive than vinegar!  But totally worth it if you happen to have vodka around anyway!

Vodka contains alcohol, alcohol tends to dry hair/skin so it will dry the hair no? :/

I was thinking that myself, but I'm not sure.

Since I don't drink, I'll just stick to the vinegar. Cheaper! πŸ˜€

My hair's not dry when I do that. I also use some leave-in so that helps but I haven't felt dryness.

i did this the other day, diluted about a shot and a half of vodka and mixed with warm water in a 500ml bottle. Chucked that over my head and it seemed to do the trick. Ive had no rub off from Directions Ebony and plus my hair feels soft, so dont think it dried it at all πŸ™‚ x

Vinegar's way cheaper and it works just the same, so vodka is just in case you run out of vinegar. πŸ™‚
