I saw this in Tesco a few weeks ago and thought it was worth a try, as I'm trying to keep the muddiness at bay on my green fringe (odd-but-nice combo of a yellow base & CC Capri blue) and I do get annoying scalp problems. :/
My obscenely long roots needed done, so I bleached them to a really quite brassy blonde cause I'm now terrified of overprocessing after reading the Bleaching Horror Stories thread.
I applied the silver shampoo for about 10 minutes while I mixed my dye. It's good as a toner- my bleached roots weren't so yellow and awful- looking. It seems to be good at stripping, too; when I rinsed, a lot of colour came out- more so than when I did a Head & Shoulders wash!
This shampoo has quite a nondescript, fresh scent- disappointing, as I really like the smell of the original stuff. However, I recognise this is a subjective thing, so this might be an advantage to some. Word of warning though- the cap seems quite flimsy and I'm always worried it'll snap off one day! There's also a matching conditioner, but I couldn't find it. I've included a picture of the bottle below.
In summary, this shampoo is not dissimilar to Touch Of Silver price-wise and functionally, but it its anti-dandruff qualities make it a handy option for those who have scalp problems or a nasty fade. I was concerned that it would end up doing both jobs poorly, but so far that doesn't seem to be the case.
I apologise for lack of coherence- this is the first time I've reviewed anything and I was trying to cover all bases. If you've got any further questions I'll answer them as best as I can!
Hmmmm apparently if I checked out correctly the ingredients list, it doesn't have any bad silicones in it.
Aqua,Sodium Laureth Sulfate ,Cocamidopropyl Betaine ,Sodium Chloride ,Cocamide DEA ,Parfum ,Citric Acid ,Glycerin ,Butylene Glycol ,Polyquaternium-59 ,Hydroxypropyl Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride ,Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer ,Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Extract ,Stearyldimonium Hydroxypropyl Hydrolysed Wheat Protein ,Triethylene Glycol ,Propylene Glycol ,Sodium Lauryl Sulfate ,Methylchloroisothiazolinone ,Methylisothiazolinone ,Magnesium Chloride ,Magnesium Nitrate ,Sodium Benzoate ,Benzyl Alcohol ,Hexyl Cinnamal ,Linalool ,CI 60730 (Ext D&C Violet 2)
I must also try this shampoo. Hopefully they sell this stuff also in Irish Tescos.
I count 2 silicones in that ingredients list, but they are fairly far down, so it's not loaded with cones!

Mindi, if you're referring to the methyl-blahblah-nones, these are actually preservatives rather than silicones, so they won't build up in the hair at all 🙂
Polyquaternium is a 'cone, though.
You see, this is why I don't bother with cone free anymore! I get so confused about what is and what isn't a cone, I thought all items ending in one were a cone, but would never have even thought that polyquaternium was one! I just stick to clarifying my hair at least once a week to get rid of any build up, and trying not to use cone-heavy products!
Polyquaternium 59 isn't a cone per se, it's a polymer which is used to help prevent UV damage to the hair. Hexialyse is right in the respect that some polyquats can cause build up, but not all require a sulphate wash to remove, many can be shifted with a milder surfactant.
Some people love cones, some hate em. It's the same with polyquats. I have tried to go completely cone free and all it seemed to do was give me a headache reading all the tiny print in the ingredients lists -- my hair was still pretty much the same as before I switched and can have a random blah attack just as before.
I don't use anything really cone heavy, and I tend to clarify a couple of times a month just to catch any build up. Actually, that's a lie, it's not so much to clarify, I'm just too lazy to do a CO wash some days -- shampoo does dry my hair a bit but its definitely quicker than CO washing.
I might be wrong, but I think it's things like dimethicone and cyclopentasiloxane etc. that you have to be wary of. The ones in this shampoo appear to be water-soluble preservatives. I didn't think polyquaternium was a 'cone- it appears to be derived from cellulose, which is carbon-based.
