Tigi Dumb Blonde Reconstructor

I bought some of this because it was £9.99 for a huge 750ml bottle in B&M Bargains and I'd run out of Joico K Pak. Apparently they have it in TK Maxx for about £8 sometimes too.

It's really nice, my hair didn't feel gummy or sticky when wet before I used it, but I did notice some breakage when blow drying. I put this on for 40 mins wrapped in a warm towel, then rinsed and conditioned, and my hair feels great afterwards - soft and shiny and no breakage when drying - it feels stronger too. Also it smells amazing - like fruit sweets. I doubt it could match the power of Joico on very damaged hair (Joico saved most of my hair when i accidentally double processed it) but as a treatment for normal bleached hair it's great, and a fraction of the price if you can find an offer.

There's the odd bad review on Makeup Alley - but it seems to be more people using it wrong than the fault of the product - it's a protein reconstructor not a conditioner, so if you over use it or don't condition afterwards your hair prob won't feel great as protein is drying. I'm going to use it once a week and see how I get on.

I'm going to keep my eye out for this. I'm going to go to B&M this week, but no point me buying a big bottle as I can't take it with me when I go traveling. I think I remember you saying they did smaller bottles though?

They do have small bottles, I think this is one Tigi discontinued, they did them in sets but now you just get a conditioner which is a little bit of a cop out! Its not too bad but smells super!

They didn't have any smaller bottles of reconstructor in B&M (just smaller dumb blonde conditioner) but they might have some in TK Maxx?
