Hi guys! π
When I dyed my hair blonde for the first time and put on SFX, my hair went SO dry! I wanted to be able to get affordable local products for my hair and Superdrug seem to do wonderful stuff!
I use their Coconut and Sweet Almond Intensive Conditioner and it leaves my hair feeling so soft and managable without any greasy feeling. It smells a lot more coconutty than the Boots one and I find it a LOT more conditioning and softening.
They also do a Raspberry and Macadamia Nut Shampoo and Conditioner for coloured hair. Unfortunately the shampoo has SLS in it so I stayed clear of that one, but the conditioner is wonderful! It smells really strong of Rasberries, it's nice and light but also makes your hair so soft and shiny. When I use it, my colour pops even more and makes it more intense! Lovely! ;D
I've also tried out their cheapest own brand conditioner for coloured hair and it's really thick and creamy, smells lovely and it's brilliant for adding your dye to for top up colour conditioning.
I also use their own brand Dry Shampoo which does just a good a job as the more expensive stuff. I didn't like the smell of the purple can, but the orange can is lovely and really helps refresh.
The Superdrug own stuff in general is so good, affordable, animal friendly and you can also get 25% off each of their own brand products (10% off other brands) when you get a receipt at the till...you just have to go online and do a feedback survey about your visit and general customer service questions (takes about 5-10mins) and you'll get a code to write on the receipt. You have to spend Β£10 or over to get the percentage off, but that's a lot of savings when you're getting up to 25% off the stuff, and you can get loads for your money! Last time I was there I bought all the make up and hair stuff I needed for the month and it cost about Β£15, but with the voucher the price went to about Β£8-9! I'm well impressed!
My blonde friend loves their own henna shampoo and conditioner and masks for her bleached hair, says they are really good.
i used one of their 99p toners, and i think it worked really well. shows you, don't be fooled by a cheap price.. not always the case with quality π
