[Sticky] Shampoo and Conditioner

Great list! Getting the hump with almost running out of Naked whilst I wait for it to be on offer (I am stingy and it is quite dear).
Does the Loreal everpure have silicones? See that on offer loads, but never actually read a bottle. Might be being thick and not noticed, but I couldn't find that on the page.

My mam has one of their conditioners, i hate the smell of it, it is silicone free though.

I was recommended Cappola keratin sodium chloride/sulfate free shampoo for color, because I had the keratin treatment done. They have a whole line of sulfate free, but not sure how good it is yet. There was a few at the store (brightonbeautysupply.com) .

I bought Palmers Olive Oil shampoo t'other day, it's sulphate-free too. Can't comment on its non-colour stripping efficacy as I box dye these days but it smells lovely, my hair feels really clean and much softer than if I use an SLS shampoo. My hair is super curly today too, much more so than with regular shampoo.

They do a conditioner too but it was sold out in Sainsburys, but that was no great shakes because if there's one thing I've got plenty of, it's no-'cone condish!

So on my shopping travels this week i found 3 cheap co washing friendly conditioners.  *yay*
As i tried the curly girl hair method for a short while but turned out i was using the wrong kind of conditioner (damn sneaky silicone's).

Here is a list of the 3 conditioners i got (thought i'd share them with you all):

Sainsburys - Basic Conditioner (White) - 1lt - 87p  (unknown)
Wilko - Cleanse Conditioner (White) - 750ml - 75p  (coconut & vanillia)
Tesco - Luscious Conditioner (Pink) - 500ml - 80p  (raspberry & Pomegranate)

I haven't used them yet so can't say how they are on my hair.

Is by far, hands down, the best shampoo & conditioner I have ever used that has not stripped the color from my thinning hair on my head!  *yay* I just love the smell of it too!!

I use Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut for my scalp wash, and Tresseme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner for my lengths. Both are silicone free. Though the latter is thicker, i actually like the suave better for my lengths, it makes my hair feel better. I never thought i would like as cheap of a product as suave, but ingredients wise its great! In beauty school they pound into your head how horrible drugstore shampoo/conditioner is, so i always steered clear of suave, esp since its only like $1.50 for a huge bottle, i figured it must be terrible for the hair. But when i actually looked at the ingredients, its better for the hair than the typical $17 paul mitchell, bed head, or redken confitioner. Expensive doesnt mean its better at all. Often times i have learned, just like some clothing brands, its expensive not because its any better quality, its just the name brand.

Garnier fructis has some silicone free conditioners. I think its called smooth and sleek. I cant be 100% sure as the one I bought was in spain so the name was in spanish.

The garnier fructis is unfortunately different here in the US. The same ones that are silicone free in Europe, have silicones in them here for some reason. Lame.

I tried Not Your Mother's Way To Grow shampoo for a couple months and absolutely loved it for strengthening my hair.  It's sulphate-free and--bonus!--it smells awesome (like strawberry candy)!  Double bonus!  It's GREAT for fading!

I've been using the happy hair days from sainsburys, currently using the moisture one but the bottles have lasted me since october so far, im about to stock up again as its on offer 2 for £5 again x

Ooh ... I'm gonna need some new shampoo soon, and I was gonna go back to Osmo, but I think I'll try this first if it's on offer!
