Hi guys, just wanted to recommend the B4 U Colour Pre-Colour Treatment/Shampoo for before you colour π It's awesome for fading/stripping out previous semi-permanent colour... http://www.amazon.co.uk/B4-Colour-Pre-colour-Clarifying-Treatment/dp/B004GE2TQ4 (link to Amazon, but you can get it at Boots and Superdrug, possibly Sainsburys too).
It's really really good, smells nice and hair feels nice too when using it/after using it. It got rid of a LOAD of dye I needed to fade before putting on a box blonde dye.
I picked it up for Β£1.99 at Superdrug (normally Β£3.99, but they have it on sale at the moment) and you don't need to use much for it to rather up and cover the hair (my hair is super short, but a little goes a long way).
i keep hearing good reviews for this stuff. must get me some for next time im fading =)
It's definitely good stuff! Also good for bleach baths as it's a clarifying shampoo that opens the hair cuticle. I use it before re-dyeing and before any chemical treatment so that it sinks deeper into the hair shaft. You can definitely feel that it opens the cuticle, but it doesn't feel harsh on your hair.
I used B4 U Colour after going swimming but it didn't even get the smell of chlorine out so I doubt it removed the chlorine lol. I have also tried it to remove product/colour build up but to be honest my hair didn't feel any cleaner and the colour didn't fade, just like after a normal shampoo and no conditioner... So imho a pretty average product but if it's on sale then give it a go, obviously works for other people π .
