Review: it's a 10 miracle leave-in product

I received a free 120 ml sample of this product in with my last warehouse order.

Product claims it does 10 things instantly:
1) Repairs dry, damaged hair
2) Adds shine
3) Detangles
4) Controls frizz
5) Seals & protects hair colour
6) Prevents split ends
7) Stops hair breakage
8) Creates silkiness
9) Enhances natural body
10) Flat iron spray & thermal protector

Ingredients: Water/Aqua/Eau, Cetearyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Chloride, Propylene Glycol, Cyclomethicone, Fragrance/Parfum, Panthenol, Silk Amino Acids, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract, Camellia Sinesis Leaf Extract, Quaternim-80, Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Eugenol, Coumarin, Cinnamal, Linalool, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.

It has a sprayer, but I've found it works best to spritz two or three pumps full into my palm and then work it through my ends with my fingers instead of spraying directly onto my hair.  It has a really amazing scent.  πŸ˜€  We've been using it for 3 weeks now.

My daughter is a wavy, has tangle-prone frizzy hair that she air dries.  She's been using this after she washes her hair, and I've also been using it.  I have to say, I am impressed.  It's been really good at managing tangles for her, though she is still prone to frizz if it's windy or very humid.  It does add some shine and silkiness to both of our hair.  I don't know about enhancing natural volume.  I blow dry and this is the only product I use (no other volume enhancers), and I can't say that I've noticed much of an improvement in that area.

On my hair, it's been nice for adding some moisture and shine.  My ends have been heavily processed and are prone to being dry.  I like that it works as a heat protectant because I do use a blowdryer and occasionally a flat iron.

It does have one silicone: Cylcomethicone.  I've read a couple of things, and Cyclomethicone is either slightly water soluble OR it evaporates from the hair as it's dried?  In any case, it's not one of the "big bad guys" but may still be prone to build up if you co wash only.  I tend to use clarifying shampoo 2-3 times per month before I do a K-Pak DPR, so I'm not overly concerned about buildup.  My daughter low-poos, so no worries for her there either.

I wouldn't normally choose to purchase a product like this without trying it.  Since it was a free sample, I was happy to give it a go.  Overall, I would purchase this product to continue using in the future.

I used to work at a fiesta salon + we used to sell a lot of this, but i was always wary to try it because of alcohol being the 2nd ingredient. I think i have a bottle stuffed in a cupboard somewhere, i may just try it now!

Cetearyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol that is used to stabilize emulsions.  It's not the kind of alcohol that would be added to a product to speed dry time, so it's not likely to be drying.
