I am dying the underlayer of my hair purplish/blue for quit a while now and i noticed that because of the bleaching of the roots every time my hair started to show some damages, not much but enough to thinking about chopping some off.
i wanted to avoid that for a while now because i really want to grow long hair.
i already drench my hair twice a week with coconut oil and after some searching on the internet i came on the brazilian keratin hair treatment!
it looked ssssoooooooooooooo good and after searching for a hairdresser near my house i found multiple salons that did this treatment but for 200-250,- :/
i think that is ALOT and that is about the same wat i spend on my hair for a whole year.
so i looked on the internet again for home keratin sets and i found this one for 25$!
so i took the gamble and tried it!
i was a little bit worried because with a keratin treatment you first have to wash your hair with a clarifying shampoo twice, blow dry your hair, then put the stuff in like you would with a hairdye, blowdry again after 30 min(no washing out!)and then straighten your hair.
i thought it was pretty wierd that you don't have to wash it out and you can't wet your hair for 72 hours!(if your hair gets wet from rain you have to blow dry and re style your hair as soon as possible)
i must say it really looks and feels verry silky and soft!
overall i am verry happy but i am verry curious how it turns out when i wash my hair :O
some pics:
I have used the organix 30-day straight and it follows the same blowdry-straighten process. I found that after 2 weeks, my hair started feeling dryish again since the keratin is washed out slowly.
Does this one say how long its supposed to last?
@ puerkz hmmmmm no it doesn't say on the package how long it lasts but ofcourse it says that it lasts longer with their shampoo and conditioner.
but i will keep this topic up to date about the condition of my hair i hope it lasts longer than 2 weeks :O
