Organix brazilian keratin therapy ever straight-UPDATED

So i decided to try this 30 day smoothing treatment so i can cut down on the heat i put on my hair. I know a lot of you wouldnt use it as it contains a lot of silicones but for someone like myself who straightens my hair almost every day it would seem like a good product.
I decided to use it as the box clearly states for all hair types including highlighted, color treated, etc....
well It definitely did what the box said, my hair is super straight and i already used SLS free shampoos so didnt need to change shampoo either. However, After 2 months of not dying my hair, my adore pink rose was still as bright as when i first dyed it and i was really happy with it. About 10 minutes after i put on the straightening treatment and looked into the mirror i noticed that my hair was now a light salmon pink color.
This treatment although it straightened my hair it completely stripped out my color, after the half hour it had to be on my hair was almost back to the platinum blonde base! I cannot express enough how devastated i was. I think i could have lasted another month and a half before re-dying my hair!
I really wish the box had said something about it fading the color. So for anyone wishing to try this product, i would suggest doing so two days before dying your hair. It is after all a good straightening product if you do not have veggie dyed hair.

Update:
So it has now been 17 days since i used it; my hair does seem straighter when i leave it to dry naturally and it is easier to straighten my bed hair. After a few washes, the frizz is starting to come back as expected. Overall this is a good product and apart from the small matter of it striping my hair color, i would use it again if it were cheaper in the UK. Maybe i'll use it when i change hair colors as it both will strip the unwanted color and straighten at the same time  πŸ™‚

This was helpful! I've never heard of it before, but I might look into using something like this in the future, and it's good to know to color AFTER instead of before - thanks! :O)

I'm sure I read somewhere that it can do that, and it states to colour fastness test on the box somewhere.

I read the entire box and it didnt say anything about it but i bought mine in Dallas so i dont know if the boxes are different than the ones in the UK. I read a few reviews that said it had darkened their hair a little but didnt find anything on veggie dyes getting stripped. I have told the company about it so maybe they will  put a warning on the box now.

Ok, just saying what I read πŸ™‚ Maybe it is on the UK ones and not US? I don't know. I did read loads of reviews that said it fried their hair too.

I'll have a look at the UK next time i'm at boots. I bought mine in the states as its about Β£4 cheaper there.
really? that's weird, being keratin it should not fry the hair. Mine did feel funny for the 48 hours i had the product on but is normal now after washing it. Maybe its because you have to blow dry it then straighten each section 7-10 times that people fried their hair. I kept my straighteners on a low setting as i didnt trust the product even though it said it contained heat protection.
