Mellor & Russell 'Be Individual High Colour'
I just tried their Blue Mood shade on bleached hair, its come out as a pathetic pale lilac/grey!
Quite annoyed, just because it was cheap doesn't mean it shouldn't work :/
It's the ones they sell in Wilkinsons, about Β£3
Very watery colour creme, random sachet of shampoo and vague instructions
Just so you know not to bother and waste your money buying this and then more dye to correct it which is what I now have to do,
Thanks for nothing Mellor & Russell!
Ah, I had looked at this as it was cheap and a nice colour red.
I'll remember to not buy it!
Omg I was gonna buy that the other day!!
That sucks for you id be so pissed if that happened to me :/
but i hope you got the hair colour you wanted in the end though π lol
I work for Wilkinsons and I was dead disappointed when we swapped out Smart Beauty for the Be Individual. I never gave them a try but at least now I know.
I have moved this post to the Company & Products Review section to help others looking for feedback on this brand/shade.
PS - I love the colour in your avatar Colour_Hobby, which brand/colour did you use for that?
Just to keep you updated, the dishwater lilac colour that 'Be Individual' left in my hair washed straight out that night!
Its SO annoying and misleading, it's not even dye, more like diluted poster paint, literally! Waste of Β£3 :/
And thank you Nikki, I use Directions Turquoise, its back to that colour now haha π
I am boycotting 'Be Individual' bigtime, they didn't even reply to my enquiry π
Gah! It's one thing to have a lousy product but I simply won't stand for lousy customer service!
I used Be Individual N4 Extreme Red once last week and again tonight with the same result each time. I bought these from Wilkinson for 50p (priced down because our particular store doesn't stock this colour so instead of wasting money sending it off to another store we sell it off cheap) so I thought I would give it a shot.
The colour did not come out red, it came out orange on bleached hair the first time with a very runny cream and the second time I used it the cream was of normal consistency however the colour did not show up at all on unbleached brown hair, no red shine (which is what I was expecting since it said for best results use on lightened hair) there was no change at all to my hair colour.
ah, i steer clear of cheap dye.. too many bad experiences lol, its cheap for a reason
The first time I ever tried dying my hair black in 1989 it went a browny lilac colour. Never went back to cheap dyes after that. π
