So i've been using Naked Sulphate & Parabens free shampoos and conditioners solely now for about 9 months.

I started using it just after a dying stint and after I started using it the amount of colour that didn't wash out was amazing and it really did increase its longevity.

I've always been aware of how Sodium Laureth Sulphate and all those other nasties they put out there [in shampoos and soaps] were the cause and irritations of many. I've tried a couple of other supposed sulphate free shampoos but I kept going back to the branded ones because I don't have a Holland and Barret local and my "healthy" shop is expensive. Alas Naked was new in my boots on offer no less. I brought the Colour one for my hair. It smells lovely and it worked a treat. Even when I was washing my hair in the bath (no shower at the time).

I've since gone for the long hair version and that is equally lovely. I will see how it fairs for colour longevity.

I'm so glad to have found it. Plus they're blurbs on the bottles are so cute. 97% natural. I recommend to anyone, especially if they're sensitive.

I'm yet to try their other hair products but I will soon when I finish the rest of them. Really want to try their Repairing Hair Treatment.

Anyone else used them?

I've used the colour protect shampoo, and found it pretty good. About standard when compared to other sulphate free colour protect shampoos.

However, i did find it sometimes didn't make me hair look very clean, and sometimes it got greasy very quick. I guess in one way you'd expect that, but having to wash more often defeat the point of colour protection.

Still like it though, just not my favourite as i have to use like a palm full (like the bottle says) and its Β£4 a bottle, Β£3 on offer.

yeah, i used to use it, but after 5months of using it, it stopped cleaning my crown. i used to wash my crown sperate then shampoo the whole lot twice, but it'd still be greasy no matter what. so now im waiting for osmo to be delivered *excited*

I use Dread Soap for my dreadlocks (obviously) which is all natural and doesn't leave my scalp greasy at all but it's quite a serious soap and it might be colour stripping on normal hair. Might be worth looking into though if you have extra sebum production from your scalp. My daughter has that problem and when there was a case of headlice at the school I used dread soap to wash the lice stuff out because she has such fine hair and it gets weighed down if the lice treatment isn't washed out properly. It didn't harm her hair at all.

i tried my boyfriends dread soap and that didn't work for me at all. it stripped colour, wouldn't wash out properly. i felt like a skank until it finally left, took atleast 3washes. was a shame though, as i was hoping it'd be a good alternative

Ah, well at least now I know what it would do. I thought it might be a colour stripper (maybe I'll add that in the posts about lightening hair! LOL!) but I wasn't sure.

Is there anywhere that I can get this product in the US?  I would like to try it but I don't really like buying things online.  I will if I have to but, I prefer not to.

I love the Naked range, it smells nice and makes my hair really clean without washing out loads of colour.  Its the best shampoo I have tried but I guess everyones hair is different.  I really wanna try their intensive conditioners but they are quite expensive.

Do you know of any places in the US that I can find this?  Does Sally's carry it?  I really hate that my shampoos always leave my hair frizzy and dried out.  I'm totally into the all natural stuff! I can't seem find any shampoos without some horrible chemical in it.... it's a drag...
