Sounds like a random thing to review but using silk or satin pillowcases helps to reduce damaging friction on hair while we sleep, which is important for anyone trying to increase length or avoid breakage. This is the eBay store I used http://stores.ebay.com/MulHome?_trksid=p4340.l2563
and this is their new UK store http://stores.ebay.co.uk/MulhomeUK?_trksid=p4340.l2563
I went for 50% silk because 100% silk is ridiculously expensive and needs hand washing, and I chose this company off the back of a positive review on the Long Hair Community. I ordered from Mulhome China twice and would do so again. I found their communication to be excellent despite the potential language barrier, FYI we discussed getting a (UK size) kingsize fitted sheet that was not listed and fabric from the same batch so it would match up. Both times the products arrived within a few weeks, you honestly cannot tell they are not 100% from the look and feel and the sizing was spot on. As you would expect they are not as hardwearing as cotton bed linens but don't fall apart in two minutes either. I ruined a couple of pillowcases - can't remember if I used too hot a machine wash or a biological washing powder *nono* - without thinking, but that was my fault and the others have been fine.
In summary Mulhome are recommended! 8)
oooh thanks, will have a look, my hairs in good condition now as the bad hair was cut/shaved off, but worth having π
oooo thank you! i neeeeed a silk pillow case, but cant afford 100% silk either my hair is so knotty at the back after sleeping, so would defos be beneficial
*yay*
I have a pure silk pillowcase (stops my colour rubbing off) and it cost about Β£20. I wash it in the machine and tumble dry it aswell - comes out perfectly!
I'm going to try these, thanks for the review!
I want to try this now! So expensive π
