I don't try the product you show, but just have a bottle of pure Macadamia Oil that I used to use for my hair with Coconut Oil and Ricin Oil in mask.
It's a good oil but the smell isn't nice at all, it smell like a strange grilled groundnut, and I found it personnaly not very pleasant.
It's one of the reason why I don't use it alone, I mix it with other oil to conceal this point. Pay attention because it soak in all the clothes and linen you can touch (but it's common to all smelling oil).
In "spite" of all that, It seems to be very good for my hair and for my skin. And it's not greasy oil, it go throught your skin or hair very fast, like a kind of dry oil.
So, don't know if I would recommend it, to be the best oil I never use seems to be Coconut Oil and Ricin Oil for hair !
I read somewhere that Macadamia oil is very rich oil. I haven't smelled the real oil myself but after reading your post (redmorgane) I'm not so sure if I want to π . Soooooo I was really impatient and I bought the Macadamia Natural Oil Deep Repair Masque and I just used it. I have to say it is a very good conditioner and I can see why people are raving about it. It really made my hair soft and easy to brush and shiny and tangle-free and better looking overall. It didn't smell weird but there's probably plenty of nice perfumes. Thou' it has silicones and that is a minus side.
Wanda,
That stuff is amazing! I use it whenever I feel the need to pamper my hair. It also smells amazing!
Edit: I should mention that I used the deep repair mask. It was great albeit expensive. I've only bought the trial/travel size at about 4-6 dollars US depending on where you buy it. Ulta seems to be the cheapest carrier that I have seen.
I don't think you get value for money tbh. I was sold a tiny macademia oil by the hairdresser who cuts my hair and i bought a bottle of it at holland and barrett (generic) for the same price at least 6 times the size.
