So after reading a few people on here say how good it is I thought I'd check it out...
ok it's the best stuff ever for stripping out hair colour. So so much better than anti dandruff shampoo!
I washed my hair and left the shampoo on my hair under a showercap and towel for aboutttt 30mins.
More washed out after that than when I rinsed it after my first dye, awesome!
My ends have gone blonde and the top is like a dusky pink colour.
Very happy with this stuff!
Also I know it isn't something we would use every day, and because its natural I thought I'd better ask how long it keeps...14 months apparently! Ace!
The smallest bottle was £5 and I think that's good value for probably removing more (notoriously hard to get rid of) flamingo pink than a Jo Baz would.
Smells yum too! Quite acidic though.
wow sounds amazing! *adds to shopping list* Thanks! ;D
its really good!
heres the most recent of my hair pics from the extension review thing
haha what a crap demo of how thick the extensions are :/
and after doing one wash with normal shampoo, then using the lush shampoo and leaving it in for 30mins
cooool stuff!
I'll second this review. That shampoo was a godsend for getting loads of my Cerise out! I had a similar result to you.
Oooh, I'm definitely going to get some when I want to go orange/yellow! Was worried that the turquoise/teal wouldn't completely budge but I reckon a few goes with this and a bleach bath may do the trick. Exciting!
I'm trying this on my Coral Red right now...
Update
Coral Red before

I think it's a tad lighter, but nothing very dramatic 🙁
I found this even shifted some of my Atomic Pink! Not all of it, but gave me streaks of baby pink before id even started bleach bathing!

How long did you leave it on for?
tabitha the colour doesn't seem as deep if you get me, which is good. Id keep trying it if you're not wanting to bleach bath yet.
I left it on for nearly an hour. Kind of got sidetracked by knitting 😉
Ah.
Well, if you're patient I'd recommend carrying on with this treatment. At least until you feel confident enough to do a bleach bath. It definitely made a difference, if only a small one. But a few more small ones along will make big differences in the long run.
mix it with lemon juice and bicarb!
^Definitely worth a try! I made a super nuclear colour-removing mousse recently using olive oil, washing-up liquid, bicarb of soda and a touch of cider vinegar to make it frothy. Worked a treat!
Thanks soooo much for this recommendation! I used to use Vosene for fading but it really really hurt my scalp and made it all flakey and itchy. I love Juicy seems to fade my hair just as much but it doesn't hurt my scalp! Bonus!
Definitely worth the price for me, and you don't have to use loads. I'm just about to put pics of my fade, and it's only after using it twice (and the first go I didn't leave it long, it was just to watch my hair after removing the dreads).
yaaayyy im glad it worked well for you! when i came to washing it out after leaving it on, i was like erm wheres it gone haha your hair just absorbs it! its been put to the back of the cupboard for now though...until next time!
