I've yet to try any of the Lush hair products, so this review has been really helpful to me π I'm going to try one or two from the list when I have the money to spare, and will share my thoughts π
I love Lush stuff and have a huge bottles of Daddy-O shampoo and an American Cream conditioner, both smell amazing for days after and the American Cream leaves my hair super soft and slinky.
On a side note they used to do a shower gel called Skinny Dip and one called Sonic Death Monkey, I was so addicted to the Skinny Dip one but they stopped making it π Can still get Sonic Death Monkey but only via mail order from their Retro collection I believe π
Oh and the bath bubble bars are so nom too π
H'Suan Wen Hua - smells bad and did nothing disappointing π
I just tried this and I was really impressed with it. It says to leave it in for 20 minutes but I left it in for 45, washed it out twice with an Alberto Balsam shampoo and then used Aussie 3 Minute Miracle for about 20 minutes. I could feel the difference while my hair was still dripping wet, usually it feels kind of 'tough' when wet and requires a little effort to run my fingers through it, but my fingers just glided through smoothly, I didn't even need to use my detangling comb this time. I towelled it vigorously and had to nip out in the wind and rain before it was completely dry, and it stayed soft even through this. It feels a lot smoother when I run my hands over the surface of my hair, especially right at the back where it's always rough even after using 3 Minute Miracle. It looks softer and healthier already and even a little shinier. A lot of people are put off by the smell, it's not exactly pleasant but I personally don't mind it. I'm really pleased with this product and will definitely be buying it again π
I am a bit of a Lush addict, especially the bath ballistics and bubble bars! American Cream conditioner is brilliant for coloured hair, but their shampoo I found really stripped my Nuclear Red π the best of them all is Trichomania, which has a gorgeous coconut smell and leaves my hair beautifully soft and shiny, but even that fades the colour a lot π
I love Daddy-O, which has been helping with my attempt at blonde, and American Cream too. Retread is bloody wonderful; I used to use it exclusively but haven't needed to since I got my hair chopped off. But it smells FAB.
i find lush stuff all confusing, i never know what's best etc, this is awesome! xxxxxxxx

I'm sure the staff will be more than happy to give you advice on all the products! And never be scared to ask for samples of stuff either, its probably the best way to find the products that work for you.
I miss working at Lush :(.
Daddy-O is the best toning shampoo I've used so far.
I was allergic to the two lush products I tried π I was so disappointed!
I can't remember what they were but one was a violet shampoo I think...Daddy-O. I came out in massive red spots. But the staff were really kind and gave me a refund.

Thats good that they gave you a refund! I really like lush even though i could get similar more organic products elsewhere because of their great staff. I took my moody teenage brother in to get some skin stuff last week and the guy there couldn't have been more helpful or patient with my brother.
I got a free sample of the tricho thingy, smelled gorgeous, didnt work for my hair and also left me with a layer of like dry skin that itched and was then sore π
the retread conditioner was nice, left my hair smelling lovely for days, just didnt do anymore for my hair than a cheapy conditioner would π
