i love lush i thought id group all my lush hair care love into one topic.
trichomania- is a solid block of shampoo vegan friendly and made with yummeh coconuts! i love this shampoo it makes my hair feel clean and scents it with scrummy coconut its not drying and it doesn't coat my hair in anything yucky. it does what it should cleans my hair and doesn't dry it out or strip colour.
jungle hair conditioner- a solid block of conditioner vegan friendly. ok this stuff made my hair beautifully soft BUT the scent made me wanna be sick π i gave the rest of this away i couldn't stand it. is supposed to be tropical fruity smelling but it turned my tummy.
American cream conditioner - YUM YUM YUM this stuff makes me want to eat it vanilla scented heaven it feels lovely in my hair and you can smell it for days after if you have super dry hair your hair will eat this stuff but if you hair is normal you will be ok with it i like to put it in my dry hair on the ends mmm yummeh!
Daddyo shampoo - i used to use this when i had light pink hair and when i had a white strip in my hair i used this one its purple and made to keep blond white hair blond or white it helps keep brassy tones away and smells like violets lovely shampoo perfect for any coloured hair its gentle and vegan friendly π
I Love Juicy - this is an excellent one for stripping colour its strong and stripping so if your looking for a vegan friendly purifying shampoo this is a good option.
Snake Oil Scalp Massage Bar- smells baaaaaaaad! but if you have bleached your hair too much and your scalp is suffering its very soothing and works wonderfully even if it stinks i can recomend it enough!
H'Suan Wen Hua - smells bad and did nothing disappointing π
King of the Mods- styling gel i like this stuff as a blow drying aid and it smells like sprite! it tames my ends and is nice and conditioning π
hope my lush reviews help i use alot of lush because i think its nice and gentile but i will say i havent found a lush conditioner thats good for really frazzled hair.
Thank you so much! Been dying to try some of Lush haircare but I had heard some negative word of mouth regarding dyed hair and Lush haircare products (although I'm fairly sure it was based on Clairol dye which tbh imho isn't up to much!)
So to get a review for some of the individual products has been good for me, cheers love! Thanked =) xx
I love "I Love Juicy" for stripping hair colour! It's a life saver haha.
I loved "H'Suan Wen Hua" too, it did wonders for my hair and I didn't mind the smell π it lasted a few days too which is great (the smell).
H'Suan Wen Hua - What is it that is actually smells like?? I can't figure it out. I don't think it made that much different to my hair, so I wouldn't buy again, the one time something from Lush has disappointed.
i think it smells like off mayo yicky!
Cinnamon, thats what it smells like to me.
Thanks for the reviews - not tried Lush stuff myself but there is a branch in town and keep meaning to pop in but never have the time. I will now nip in for the American Conditioner as it sounds fab and i'm now also dying to smell it π

American cream is my fave lush smell i like Godiva as well the 2in1 shampoo and conditioner bar that scents hair beautifully!
i think lush is worth a try for everyone natural products mean less yucky build up and they smell lurvely!
Hmmmm, maybe? Still not worth spending the Β£8 to double check though :p
I love the smell of the bubblegum lip scrub!
Thank you! Ive been having a nose-y (bad pun not intended...at first!) at Lush stuff and the Godiva shampoo in particular cos it smells amazing! Im glad to hear its not bad for colour stripping, does it make your hair dry/greasy or anything?
well godiva

well Godiva is ment to be a two in one but i had to use conditioner with it because my hair its quite dry from bleaching and i dont think godiva was very conditioning my partner used it on its own and loved it his hair was lovely and shiney π
hmm sweet thanks, might do some more hinting to my mumma π
Cinnamon!!! That's what it smells like, thanks, now I remember why I don't like it!
I love the smell of the bubblegum lip scrub!
Last time I got that I think I ate half the tub in one go. :-[
The chocolate-orange lip balm is amazing, easily my fave, I get a new tub every time I'm in, I go through it so quickly, but I dunno if thats just me eating it again.
I used Lush Happy Hippy as shampoo once, since it makes out it can be used as shampoo as well as shower gel. Twas lemony fun and faded out the pink in my hair to a wonderful candyfloss colour.
But that is my experience. It could completely strip colour for others but for me it was gentle π
Been to Lush for early birthday shopping π
Sooo...trichomania π (bought instead of Godiva cos the proceeds are going to the Queensland floods) nommy smell! but kinda strong... also defo needs conditioner. and i made the mistake of getting some of it in my eye and up my nose(i was in a rush, okay!) ...and by golly, it stung. would noooot recommend doing that again lol.
i rally have to talk about the mint julips lip scrub though. get some! just dont eat half the pot like im so tempted to π
