Hey! recently used Jon Frieda Foam Coverage Light Natural Blonde 9N. Not very happy with this product - color washes away quickly and not as described. If you want to see pics, please go to mylifemypassion.com/2013/02/hair-color-john-frieda-foam-coverage.html

Agree or disagree?

I've not used it.

But honestly, by this picture

It kinda looks like it would be more on the strawberry blonde, ginger side on you anyway. Your hair looks darker than medium blonde on the roots in your picture compared to the medium blonde on that picture, but that could be the light. If it is darker though, that's why it didn't give you enough lift, it's designed for lighter hair.

But, I'm not a natural colours person so I've not used it πŸ™‚

Anyway, you might have some luck with some silver shampoo. If it is orangey though, that probably won't work.

I have nothing against ginger, I would have been alright if I had this colour all over my head. the problem was that my roots became ginger and the rest of the hair remained blond. I applied first on my roots and kept it for a while, then spread all over my hair and kept it again. so I would expect the colour to be more-less the same on my whole hair... πŸ™

I know it's not something against ginger and you want matching roots πŸ™‚

I'm just pointing out that maybe this wasn't the right product for what you want to achieve. It doesn't have the capability to lift your roots/virgin hair as far as the hair that was already blonde, but it will have also made the already blonde hair slightly paler again.  This is a product meant for pretty light hair already, if it's darker than that, it won't go as light as the package suggests. So you get a mismatch.

Does that make sense?

As for the washing away quickly, I definitely can't comment on that πŸ™‚
