I'm so upset :(

So last night I did all the usual things to get ready for a bleach bath. My hair was two days unwashed and I covered the part I was bleaching in coconut oil and left for hours. Bleached all fine, all done now time for a good conditioner and the sad part!
My mum had bought some Kerastase products and got the Masque Force Architecte for free, she doesn't use stuff like that so she gave it to me. I slathered it all over my hair, it smelt so nice, and went to bed. Woke up this morning, had a shower, washed it out with no shampoo or anything. Start combing through my hair and...disaster! My hair all feels like straw, even the parts I didn't bleach and were silky only two days before *ott* I read some reviews and people had the same opinion that this product sucks, oh why didn't I look at that first?! Literally feels worse than the bleach damage and it's all over.
What do I do? πŸ™ Can I just cleanse, k-pak and then moisturise to save it or is this horrible product permanent? :'(

Personally I would put on a deep conditioner that you trust, leave it for a few hours. Keep doing this each time you wash it until it feels better

Thanks, I think I'll cleanse wash it first just to make sure all of this stuff is all gone, gone forever! Just sitting here so sad  :'( products shouldn't be allowed to ruin your hair that you trust to make them better.
Edit: Washed my hair again. It still feels rather chewwy and not like my hair. Feels a little less brittle but ends very dry. Should I just leave it as long as possible? I don't want to over condition or over protein or anything. I did this in prep for my family photo on Friday, sigh.

Really strange. I'd clarify shampoo, whack on some coconut oil for a few hours then gently wash out and use a decent conditioner. If it's stretchy and gummy it'll need protein, if it's dry and brittle it'll need conditioning.

After searching for why this happened I went back to the tub and there are no instructions on it at all. It just says it's a wash out product, as in not leave-in I assumed, and that is for external use (duh). But after reading and re-reading the ingredients I noticed tucked away at the end it has hydrolyzed wheat protein in it! My mum's leave-in Kerastase conditioner has this in as well and says nothing about protein conditioner on it. Could this be the cause of my horrible hair? There is no time indicator and no mention of protein on the pot so last night I just assumed it was a hair mask and could be left in for a long time.

If it was a protein mask, it shouldn't have been left on overnight.  Protein can make hair very brittle when overused.

Give it lots and lots and lots of moisture and avoid anything with proteins in it for a few weeks.

Fudge. I totally would have never used it if I had realised it was a protein treatment. Stupid packet was very unclear but I should have checked. Thanks ladies, I hope it recovers a bit. Now its dry I can at least say the coconut oil stopped the bleach bath damage so yay for that part. Silver lining and that haha.

My hair seems to be feeling better now, like the protein has settled into my hair ::) I'm such an idiot, sitting here with s'more conditioner on my head haha. Thanks for the comforting words in my time of panic πŸ˜‰
