So, I was browsing gthe magazine racks as I regularly do in the supermarket and spied that Glamour magazine seem to have some pretty good freebies this month, a choice of 3 Percy&Reed products. Ive never heard of the brand before but the packaging looked impressive and chose the Totally TLC Hydrating mask. You get a 100ml tube free with the £2 mag. I looked online and the full size 175ml product retails at £20!
The instructions are pretty vague and I cant find any reviews anywhere except for one blog (who I borrowed the piccies off) who didnt seem to like it much.
Has anyone else tried it yet? Is it good? Or shall I whack it on in the shower tomorrow and hope for the best?
Oooo let us know if you use it and the results..... Might pop newsagents and grab one x
i got this as well, but haven't used it yet. will keep you posted.
also cosmo are giving away free clinique stuff this month!
Do you think it should be applied on clean, towel dried hair? or straight onto dry hair, then rinse? doesnt really say on the bottle or thier website.
I had exactly the same question in my head, instructions should be written VERY clearly so smiley people with bubbles in their heads like me get things right!
well i kpaked, shampoo'd, mixed the mask with aussie applied onto wet hair. only left it on for like 10mins. my hair is in buns atm, so will update in the morro
well, i washed my hair with tea tree shampoo, slapped this on, left it for about 7 ish mins, rinsed, hair felt kinda oiily after rinsing. Just dried my hair, not overly impressed, my head feels bunged up with product, and it cant be build up from before cos i used tea tree to clarify my hair. Im kinda looking forward to washing my hair again so my head feels clean. hasnt left my hair any softer or more managable, if anything, its harder to manage. I guess its a bit shinier, bbut thats about it. Would much rather use Alberto balsam or the ultra cholestorol treatments tbh.
i dont rate it either. it smells horrid, kinda chemicaly =s not a fan. my hair is soft today, but no more than usual. i wouldn't reccomend this product or buy it again. my hair is still stinky from it =s
That explains why it's being given away free with a magazine then! I'm always slightly suspicious of these freebies, but I bought it too! (Although not the mask, I have no use for that with dreads. I got the one with the finishing polish for my fringe. Haven't tried it yet - I'll update when I have!)
How disappointing ..... But on the bright side at least you didn't pay £20 for it x
