Here in the states sallys sells a brand called Generic Value Product and it makes a ton of products identical to big nane brands like joico, matrix, paul mitchell, etc. Idk if its sold where you live, but the products ive tried are absolutely identical to the name brand. They make +ive tried their version of the joico reconstructor and matrix biolage hydrating conditioner. They are literally identical. The ingredients are the same, they even list their ingredients vs the name brands ingredients on the back + i checked my actual name brand products + the ingredients are the exact same. They both even smell identical, have the same exact consistency, feel the same, give the exact same results...everything is identical, like they put the name brand peoduct into the GVP bottle. Im so glad i actually looked at their products in sallys. And, a huuuge plus,is they are way cheaper.  I got the GVP joico like reconstructor for $4.99 for 8oz and a 16 oz bottle of the biolage hydrating balm GVP version for $5.29 which is half of what i pay as a professional directly from my beauty supplier. I dont know if this brand is available at all sallys and i havent checked for it on amazon or anything. But if you come across iti am telling you, it ame as the name brand products. If someone did a blind test on me with it id swear it was the name brand. Id recommend these products to anyone that uses

Btw im on my phone now but il post pictures later or tomorrow comparing them both to the name brand products.

I wish the website had a larger selection of this brand. My local Sally's has an extremely limited selection and rude staff so it's not worth even trying to look.

I can get Joico K-pak locally, but it's like $27 after tax for the smallest bottle!

Ugh that sucks! Im telling you, everything about it is identical, completely. And its so inexpensive! I can easily get at least 7 applications with one bottle. Amazon or somewhere else online may have it, im going to really look tomorrow to see what i can find. Because the joico is SO expensive, i hate it. Hopefully i can find some online supplier for everyone here. I hate to recommend an awesome cheap product + then nobody be able to find it. There has to be some somewhere

I bought the GVP hair straightener that's comparable to the Chi and I think it works great. I haven't used a Chi to compare but I have no complaints about it at all. Best one I've ever used.

I have my eye on a GVP hair dryer that is comparable to Chi (I love Chi dryers!). So it's good to know that their flat irons are comparable, as I'm sure the dryer must be as well. Thanks for you input!

There's a flat iron that I like WAY better than the Chi, you might be interested πŸ™‚ It's this one:

I've used different sizes of it since I was in high school and I absolutely love it. Any of the Jilbere ones that I've had have lasted me between 3-5 years, using them on myself and clients too, so they took quite a beating lol.

It's seriously the best flat iron ever. Maybe when yours ends up dying one day you can try it:) May not be for a few years though! lol
